Windows are very dirty in our room and floors were not vacuumed before or during our stay. This was evident by hairpins, bits of paper, etc. on floor, which were there when we arrived and during our entire stay. The tv and shelving was dust covered as well. The young woman at the desk at our arrival was very curt and dismissive to us and the customer who followed. Everyone else was nice during our stay, very courteous, but she was there when we checked out and again seemed very condescending. She is not happy with her position greeting guests and seeing to their needs.

This hotel is utterly dreadful. It ruined the third and final segment of our tour. I contracted food poisoning from a sandwich stored in their malfunctioning fridge which made me acutely ill. I ended up missing my daughter’s final concert in DC. The hotel were well aware of the issue with the warm fridge as the receptionist admitted to also having had a similar bout of food poisoning! Unlike the vast majority of other hotels in the area, this Hyatt does not have a regular airport shuttle. After calling the hotel, I was told I should have booked it in advance but that they would send the shuttle which would take about 20mins. My 8 year old son and I waited for at least 45mins and after calling the hotel to check on the shuttle’s ETA, I was told it should arrive in about 40mins. I had little option other than take an Uber. On arrival, I was reassured that I will not need to book a shuttle back to the airport because they are regular and leave every 30mins. This is not correct. During checkout, I was informed that the shuttle leaves on the hour not every 30 mins. I had planned to wait in reception for 15mins not 45mins so once again, I resorted to Uber. The gentleman at checkin was perfunctory but reception may not be his regular job. The lady at checkout seemed competent but managed to loose her master key which delayed retrieval of our bags. The hotel is dated, room phone didn’t work, noisy and no housekeeping or bins emptied for the entire 3 night stay or clean towels.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights, they did not come clean the room once or give us clean towels or provide toilet paper. When we asked to clean the room they said that they do not do daily cleaning if you staying more then one night. If I had known this I would have stayed in an Airbnb at least I would washed my own towels. Worse place ever.

This is a great hotel close to the airport with an airport shuttle starting at 5 AM. The staff is always friendly and kind. You will want to eat dinner somewhere else as there are no walkable restaurants but the metro is very close and walkable

I always stay here when I fly in for business. I've prob stayed here 5 times now over the last year. Easy, close stay to the airport with everything you could need close by. Also, they seem to always be baking cookies in the little cafe area near check in which makes the place small amazing when you come in of they are just pulling them out! Comfy beds, really nice staff, and the breakfast is decent with protein options and not just carbs.

Vegan Gay Travelers
We selected the hotel since it was one stop away from Dulles and only two blocks from the Metro station. The hotel is newer, generally clean, with a small pool, gym, and breakfast is included. Before booking, we inquired if there were vegan products and true to their word, we found oatmeal, granola, bagels and bread, peanut butter and jams, coffee and oat milk and juices, and apples and bananas. The only criticism I had with our three night stay was that the staff in the kitchen were snippy two of the days when asking them to replenish the supplies. We headed into the tourist areas of DC everyday and while the Metro was close, it takes 50 minutes to reach center city which might be a deal breaker for future trips. However, as a gay vegan couple, the hotel offers a great deal with very professional staff, clean, reasonably priced for a great value, and LGBTQ friendly-just avoid the snippy kitchen staff.
