Crisp and fresh designed hotel with courteous and friendly service throughout. The free scheduled transit to and from the airport is terrific. A very impressive varied breakfast is provided. The evening bar is spacious, comfortable with friendly service.

I greatly recommend this hotel stay. It has all the amenities and more. The breakfast was wonderful as well as the bus transportation to the airport. Certainly a 5 star stay.

The hotel room was not the nicest but it works fine for a one night stay. Staff at the hotel were all very friendly and accomodating and breakfast was lovely. We however had to wait quite a while for dinner which was not ideal with starving children.

The front desk clerks were especially friendly and soo helpful. This was a layover stay and so we ate dinner and breakfast on site. ..both were very good. The shuttle back to the airport was on time and helpful.

Scandic has good reputation and this property definitely dented that good standing for me. But i start with the good. the sauna and pool are good. the sauna is only open after 17:00 so you need to plan. but the pool attached is nice and cold. so hot/cold repeat is great! the lockers in both mens and women’s sauna are broken. the hotel knows this but does nothing about it and offers no forewarning. which is very frustrating. maybe we don’t need to lock away our valuables? if so why have lockers? reception was very unhelpful and seemed entirely indifferent to my feedback on this. breakfast was ok. no smoked fishes. eggs were generic. my partner is gluten free and her rice pastry was moldy. so not great to bite into it and discover that. finally the door frame in our room was coming off the frame meaning the safety chain was vulnerable. it is a small thing perhaps. but honestly it should be fixed. lastly - there really is nothing around the hotel. there is a shopping mall 15 min walk away but there is nothing about how to get there and no scooters to be seen. in future will stay in city center for sure.

Clean and safe hotel with comfortable beds. The staff are very kind. My only complaint is that Scandic hotels do not have water containers in the lobby. The other hotels in Finland do and it is so nice. Bottled water is very expensive so it’s nice to get a quick glass of water in the lobby before you go up to the room or leave for the day. It was something I really appreciated. Of course the tap water can be used in the room also. I just really liked it.

A nice hotel and easy to get to on the half-hourly, free, airport shuttle. Convenient for the airport but not Helsinki city centre. A big shopping mall is nearby and within walking distance albeit about 1km. Happy to stay here again for the airport, price, quality of the hotel and buffet breakfast.
