Excellent hotel. Checked in via the kiosks, gave you the card for your room and told you the room number, shower was great, if you want your room cleaned it’s extra unless you stay longer, we got more towels when we needed them, beds were comfy, there were kettles and microwaves to heat up food etc, also fridges to put things in. Excellent stay

I love the Citybox concept where you have common area and kitchen with everything you might need - kitchen utensils, TV, board games, table tennis. The rooms are very modern, but don't have a TV which is why the prices are lower I guess. I didn't mind this at all. There is a huge construction site around the hotel which is the only complaint I have. The staff is super nice and friendly.

I LOVED City Box Helsinki. I knew this was a "no-frills" budget hotel, but it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The check-in at the kiosk was super easy and fast. The room was spotless clean. There is no TV, alarm clock or coffee maker in the room but it did not matter to me. I was glad that the room had AC, and everything looked brand-new. Bed was so comfortable too. It is a 3 minute walk from Hakaniemi station. Super convenient. I miss this hotel already. Highly recommended!

A very clean, convenient self-service hotel with close proximity to restaurants, shops, attractions, and transportations. It is self-service so you can buy your food in the store, prepare it in the.kitchen, put it in the fridge etc. They have a laundry area.

Very new property in excellent location within walking distance to city center. Has a minimalist trendy vibe. Self-serve laundry facilities were a huge plus in the middle of our trip. Nice to stay at a newer property in the "old world near historical city center. Euro travelers know what I'm talking about. Would stay again. Wish it weren't 9 time zones from home.

The hotel itself was perfectly fine, especially if you know what to expect. The hotel doesn't take cash, so be aware. The room itself was clean and functional. Nothing extra in the room; no tea and coffee, no fridge, or safe or iron or anything "extra", so again, just be aware. Check in and out was quick and painless.

Comfortable beds, easy self check-in, but there is someone on site if needed. Communal area for making coffee, food with coffee machines dispensing coffee for a small fee. Everything we needed for an overnight in Helsinki. Would stay again.

A great budget hotel. Short tram ride from the Central Station, lots of food and groceries nearby. Self check-in needed a texted code which I hadn’t received, but staff was in the office and came quickly to work it out. No breakfast but there is an eating area and kitchen (fridges, microwaves, coffee machine$, dish ware and cutlery to take as needed) and a self-serve laundry$ adjacent. Room is compact but everything worked well and it was spotless. One of the streets beside the hotel is under construction but not noisy at all. I would highly recommend.
