Great property, good breakfast: walking distance to Jumbo Mall, quiet, walkable, green-space. Airport shuttle. Was a bit dismayed at having to fill out a check-in registry w pen and paper - info the hotel already had.

Easy in and out. Basic level in excellent shape.
Excellent for getting a warm bed close at the airport, easy in and out without any fuss. FOC airport transfers worked well even at the strangest hours. Room was small but modern and very clean. Breakfast started at ~3am! I will stay any time again as long as the price remains reasonable. (There would be room for more TV channels).

Excellent breakfast. Lovely to have access to a sauna to relax and the end of a long day. Bus stops in both directions just outside the hotel to access public transport. Really helpful to have the shuttle bus service to get to and from the airport

Outstanding Option Near to the Airport
An outstanding stay near to the airport. Great service, a good breakfast buffet, a good night's sleep - and the hotel was located in a nice area, with a supermarket nearby. The transportation to and from the airport was on-time, spacious, with friendly drivers and exactly as advertised.

I would've given 5 stars if there was air conditioning. There was a small desk fan only, so made for a hot night. Check-in staff were rude and didn't acknowledge us when we were standing at the desk. Check-out staff were lovely and friendly. Buffet b'fast was amazing!

The rooms are small and cosy with everything you need for a stopover but the best thing was the restaurant and staff. The food was AMAZING!! Genuinely the best we had in our week long stay in Finland. The staff at reception and the waiter in the restaurant were outstanding and a credit to the hotel.

Great place for early flight
First time at the hotel and pleased with everything. Outside may be a bit dated but inside is nice and the room had everything we needed. Friendly service throughout the hotel. Early breakfast from 3.30am was great although not many vegan options.

The Pilot is a good hotel with easy transport to vantaa airport. They have completed many upgrades since our last visit about 6 years ago. Breakfast is served early enuf to get even an excellent hot breakfast before a 7 am flight including delicious Karelian pastry. Jumbo is within walking distance. Room had been thoroughly redecorated to a high standard. Free shuttle to airport

The staff was truly a great help. For my first trip to Europe, they made it easy. Transportation is provided via shuttle from the airport. I enjoyed my time there. Walking to the store was close as weĺl.
