The staff was super friendly. The property look like it was built in the '90s and that was the last time it was updated. The heating and air unit in the room was filthy. The swimming pool and hot tub was down the ice machine was down. The grout in the bathroom floor tile was chipping out due to loose tiles. Room was nice and quiet and bed was comfy

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was decent - eggs, gravy and biscuits, waffles, and the usual items that are found on the continental breakfast menu. All in all, a good value for the price.

I dont normally leave poor review, and we should have known from the star review, so ill say buyer beware. You get what you pay for. I will say the hotel front desk man on was so lovely when we arrived. All staff was kind and friendly really. I feel bad. But too many little things just added up to an uncomfortably short stay.

The staff person was the highlight. Made sure we felt welcome and knew about all the amenities offered. The room was fair for the price. However, the facility does not appear that it has been updated in a long time. The parking is tight with only one exit/enter. The carpets were worn and torn in areas. The pool was down with no prior notice. Its located right off the main strip and city sounds are prominent. It definitely is not an 8.4 star as advertised but in my opinion about a 7. If the pool is open... The staff and price make it a good stay.

Hotel is showing its age. Tub showed it especially. Not as nice as it used to be. Pool was out of order but we wouldnt have used it anyway. Breakfast was okay. Nothing great. Just an okay stay.

When I arrived for my stay, the front desk clerk informed me that their pool was closed. I appreciated the up front info given so that I could decide to go elsewhere. I had my 9 year old grandson with me, who had endured ;-) a three hour car ride while looking forward to playing in the pool, so I attempted to find an alternate hotel. The clerk told me that he could cancel the room but that I would have to call Expedia to get my money back. I wasn't feeling well, my phone was almost dead, and good luck ever getting Expedia to answer. By the time I left the lobby half an hour later, I was in tears and decided to just give up on getting the money back. I am not a wealthy person and had chosen this hotel because of the price, pool, and free breakfast. We were in town to watch the Special Olympics basketball team.which a friend coaches. I finally found another hotel, apparently the only one with an open pool in town, but had to pay more than double the price. After getting my phone charged, I saw that I had missed several calls. Much to my surprise, they were from the clerk, Chris, at the Baymont. He had gone above and beyond for me and talked to his manager, who then contacted Expedia to make sure that they refunded my money. I would choose the Baymont next time I am in town even though I didn't stay there this time. It is so rare to get that kind of compassionate customer service these days. I am forever grateful! My wyndham rewards points were all entered by staff. Did not get my wyndham rewards points for my stay despite the staff giving me an assurance during my stay that wyndham rewards points will be credited for my 3 night stay within 72 hours. I felt disappointed. All other aspects were fine, except the credit of rewards points in a timely manner. Hope management will take steps to credit wyndham points as soon as they receive my message

Thrifty for a reason
When we checked in, we were informed by the staff the pool was closed due to the health inspector shutting them down for the staff not being CPR/ first aid trained- not sure I believe that was the reason as the pool was missing a bunch of tiles on the bottom. Very dirty carpet, walls etc. not much up keep.
