Red Roof Inn Helen GA - great experience overall
The check in lady was so sweet, and the room was very nice for an aging property. Our only real issue was that the dog park area was not well kept - there was damage to part of the fence and people didn't clean up after their pups, so it wasn't safe to turn our puppy loose or play with her off leash.

Great option!
Definitely is a good option, hotel is old but very clean. Front desk personnel very friendly. Breakfast was fine. Location is walking distance of the main street and restaurants.

The check in / out staff were wonderfully nice. However, our sheets had stains, the bathroom smelled like urine & had hair in the shower. We arrived 1am & didn’t have the energy to go back downstairs and have someone clean again / put on new sheets. Slept on the top sheet over the stained ones. Will not return.
