This motel areas to be in the process of being renovated. The mattresses and furniture are new but the beds are on a cheap spring and metal frame so there was little support and very uncomfortable for 2 people. We stayed during the off season but it is right a cross the street from a water park and can imagine getting to the hotel during summer months could present challenges along with the noise. We stayed in room 211 and at night, there is a bright light outside that shines into the window and the curtains do not close all the way. The door did not latch unless you pushed it hard. The breakfast was danishes and waffles if they had the battet stocked.

I had a fantastic stay at the Days Inn by Wyndham in Helen! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I could ask for. The location is perfect—close to all the local attractions and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The breakfast options were a great start to the day, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Helen!”

Room was beautifully decorated. Staff was friendly. Good breakfast. Found a half eaten prop cookie upon entrance into room and in bathroom. Inside of bathroom door was scratched - looks like a dog was left in bathroom and scratched the door to get out. Otherwise, everything was clean and very neat.
