Dirty room
The floor was filthy with crumbs all over . The ceiling was covered in stink bugs and ladybugs. The bed linens were turned inside out and there were dirty paw prints from a dog and crumbs in the bed. The smell of the room was so bad I went and got car air fresheners out of the car . Checked out the next morning and the sign on the counter said sorry no housekeeping on the weekend. So that’s why I guess.

WE WERE VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN OUR STAY, THE ROOM WAS VERY DIRTY, FURNISHINGS VERY VERY OLD AND IN POOR CONDITION, THE BATHROOM WAS HORRIBLE . VERY VERY NOISY, WALLS VERY THIN WE COULD HEAR ROOMS ABOVE WALKING ON FLOOR, COULD HEAR TV'S ETC. UPON ARRIVAL FOUND THE WINDOW UNLOCKED AND OPEN. THE DOOR TO THE ROOM BARELY LOCKED COULD EASILY BE OPENED. FELT UNSAFE.

Needed some place to sleep on our way to an east coast road trip. Definitely would not have picked this place. Super dirty. Poorly lit. Being next to a golf course, you’d think it was going to be decent but was not. We (2 females) actually felt unsafe at night walking our dog. Litter and trash everywhere. Outside doors to hotel do not close/lock. Our room STUNK so bad of cigarettes. Stains on towels, bedding, paint peeling everywhere, outlets that don’t work, holes in the walls, “workout room” out of order, lobby bathroom out of order… if it wasn’t so late at night and being exhausted from driving all day and prepaying - we would have just left. I almost would have rather slept in my car. We also didn’t know it until the next morning when we lifted the blinds but the window was open (probably for someone previous to smoke) so we were not secure all night. Random people walking near property all night. Would not want to stay here again nor recommend for pretty much anyone. Usually have no problem with Red Roof, especially being pet-friendly, but this one was one-star or less.

Poor service
The room was as shown however the service was horrible. The tentant was rude, we called the serice bell and waited over ten minutes just to check out. He did not explain the wifi services. The only thing offer for breakfast was coffee and breakfast was offered on the site. Would not stay again.

Comfortable
Relaxing overnight stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Hotel is no frills, but definitely adequate for a safe, quiet night of rest. Front Desk agent provided us with a menu for a nearby Italian Restaurant (Berwick) that provided very fast delivery. And the food was excellent.

This is a great hotel in a weird area, mostly a truck stop. there were people throughout the night just hanging around outside. My wife and I felt uncomfortable going to our car because there were people hanging around it.

Normally, I might not provide this type of feedback, but for the amount we paid, I felt compelled this time to leave feedback. If I had paid a lot less, I may not have been too surprised at what we got for our money. There was dog excrement on the walkway, cigarette butts everywhere, in the parking lot and mulch beds around the hotel. There was trash, old soda and coffee cups outside the side entrances that were clearly there for a while. The windows on the first floor were able to be opened fully. Upon entering and exiting the hotel during our stay, we witnessed hotel customers on the first floor climbing in and out of an open window, passing beer, food, chairs, etc., in and out. I’m not saying they were up to anything nefarious, but the fact that anyone could easily enter and exit like that, probably isn’t the best thing when you want to feel some type of security.

They did not clean my room or make the bed the second day. I wasn't informed of this ahead of time and still had to pay full price. I even had to go to the lobby to get fresh towels. They wouldn't even bring them to me. People were cooking food in their rooms and made the place smell awful. The water in the shower also smells bad.
