Room with a balcony = door that allows access to the entire balcony of the building. Not private. I had to go to the hotel next door to get advice on how to check in as no one was there at 3pm. Number on door went straight to voice mail. Breakfast only available between 8-10am. Noisy from the trucks and the fact the door to the balcony didn't shut properly.

Unmanned checkin, no AC controller. Room was so small barely fit two single beds. No way to get Water into kettle. The Bathroom was nice tho, very spacious, modern and clean. Beds were very comfortable.

Small things matter

Tv remote didn't work. Had a family room and only had 1 coffee cup, no glasses. Lock on door didn't work properly. Only had very small amount of toilet paper. Beds were comfortable

This is a clean, modern and very well-appointed studio on acreage within easy access to the beautiful village of Mt Barker. Magpies, corellas, finches, ducks and rabbits were often seen, and we were visited by a kangaroo one evening, too. A lovely place to stay.

Terrible management

Had a terrible experience at this place. Stayed for one night. One guest played loud music and partied all night and then argued with others when asked to keep quiet, this went on until 2.30am. Motel management made no attempt to intervene and get the police involved. It got scary as it started to escalate to violence. Very uncomfortable night. Carpet was lifting which was not very safe, there was a hole in the wall left by the door handle as there was no stop. The fridge did not even have all it wrapping plastic removed. Bathroom was very small, would not a tall person. Notified management of the above issues and they said their maintenance team would look into it, however these appear to have been like this a long time so I would not be the first to complain about them. Would not recommend staying here at all.

Not happy with a cold shower

The one thing I asked for after reading feed back prior to booking was a room that had hot water, I ran the shower 20 minutes and had to endure a bloody cold shower! If you are going to rent rooms out you first must have not only clean sheets but a hot shower too!
