Staff were all very welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. Clean room and bathroom. Dining was excellent, lovely choice of menu which changed daily. Lots of rooms to relax and have drinks etc before dining. Views were exceptional throughout the hotel. Good outside seating and gardens.

Fabulous stay
A lovely restful stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Food was amazing and they catered wonderfully for our gluten and lactose problems. Good bar and there are two sitting rooms, one with a small billiard table in. There are two electric charging points in the car park (7KWh). The area has amazing walks, including a 1 mile walk to Hawes.

Great hotel
Hotel was in a beautiful location and a great venue. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room had everything that was required. Excellent breakfast, dinner menu could maybe be updated in terms of the meal choices and a little pricey but very tasty and prompt service. Overall, I would definitely return to this hotel.

This felt a safe environment in which to stay in Covid-times. The staff were scrupulously careful about hygiene and seating arrangements. We reserved a time slot for each meal, so there weren't too many people eating at once. We had a lovely, relaxing week-end and look forward to coming back.

What an amazing hotel, set in lovely grounds and just a short walk into Hawes. Ideally located for various walks in the Dales. The hotel is relaxing and peaceful which is what we like, the perfect place to chill and have a drink and read. Rooms are great and clean, the food is amazing and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful
