The room was clean and comfortable, likely recently renovated. The breakfast was below average. The waffle machine and juice dispenser weren’t working due to an electrical problem caused by renovations but the hotel didn’t make any alternative arrangements like bottled juice.

Easy prompt check in and check out. Breakfast was bag type due to construction. Everyone very friendly. Would recommend for any visit to Laurel. Shower pressure a bit weak, though.

We were in a newly remodeled room, it was nice. The hotel breakfast area was still under renovations but looked pretty close to being opened up. They we giving out breakfast bags and of course had morning beverages.

Construction mess
Hotel and our room undergoing significant renovation of which we were not made aware of until checking in when I saw signs. When we arrived in our room saw construction tape in the tub and warning tape on the shower rod. The tub had fresh patches which would have prevented a bath Water pressure was poor and toilet was wobbly. Couldn’t unpack or do anything in room for about 45 minutes waiting for all clear to be able to use the room. Room was large but sparsely furnished. Part of the construction also meant no dining room so were given a grab and go which consisted of bottle of water, apple, bagel with peanut butter spread - apple was bad. - totally unacceptable. Possibly would have the used the gym but it was closed. The pool being closed didn’t matter to us. With all this said we paid about $217 with nothing on the site about extensive hotel construction and never offered any kind of compensation or apology. We do appreciate your hotel brand updating but not at the expense of your customers.

The hotel was under renovations. Dusty, dirty, no pool, no hot breakfast. Breakfast was a to-go bag. Orange, water, chewy bagel, peanut butter and jelly condiment. I had asked for a reduction in rate which was not honored.

This property was under construction but we were never notified. Work was actively occurring in front of the elevators and lobby during peak checkout time. Dust was everywhere. No consideration was given for the inconvenience.

We were not told the hotel was being renovated. The lobby was in complete disarray. There was no complimentary breakfast. Our room still had blue painters tape on the wall. The peep hole in the door was stuffed with paper because it hadn’t been installed yet. The wallpaper by the bathroom mirror was lifted and peeling off. The construction crew started at 8am which woke us up. Definitely not worth $200 per night! I’d like at least a partial refund.

We were very happy with our stay. They let us know ahead of time that renovations were going on. We were in a newly renovated room that was beautiful. We noticed that the air conditioning unit was very quiet along with any other appliances. Jessie at the desk was wonderful
