Everything was as expected for an aging cabin property. These cabins have all the convinces needed for a sustainable stay in the mountains. Full-size fridge and stove, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker - however, the utensils and dishes are few. There is a choice of using the gas furnace or (fee for wood - bring an axe) you can burn the fireplace for a cozy atmosphere. I recommend you bring food and coffee, maybe your own pillows and comforter. There is really only one choice of lighting - a stark white lap fixture high in the ceiling - bring a lamp if you can. The water wasn't tasty but it is tolerable - recommend bringing water. These cozy but rustic cabins are easy to access and sit far enough from Highway 1, that we didn't hear the traffic. The train is a distant rumble, until hotels in Canmore, where they rattle through the centre of town. The staff are ready to help and friendly. We didn't have any trouble with our stay. I can recommend this stay to anyone looking for a fully equipped stay in the mountains for a low price. (we visited in winter)

Rustic cabins for a mountain getaway.

The cabins have a rustic fee which fits nice with a weekend of hiking and skiing. The wood stove was a nice bonus and adds to the cabin feel. Kitchen came in handy. Wasn’t the cleanest but not a huge deal. Door was a bit drafty as there was a crack down the door letting cold air in. Would stay again.

Very rustic experience. Cleansiness was the big issue. Light fixtures, fridge, and other items were long overdue for a good dusting. Basic dishes and appliances. Road noise from highway. Just needs a bit of TLC to really spruce this place up.

Absolutely cozy and quaint cabins for those who love a rustic experience. Nothing fancy and no need as these make you feel at home in the mountains. Covers all your necessities for a stay with a kitchenette, bath, bed and couch! Fire pit out the door for an evening under the stars! My wife and I loved it here and will be back fosho!

This place needs a lot of work. The door let tons of cold air in and i had to put stuff in front on the door to stop the cold. There are huge cobwebs in the skylight and cobweds in the bathroom. The shower is so small its near impossible to use. The bed was very comfortable but thats all i can say about the place.

The staff were super friendly, especially their sweet pup and kitty who greeted us when we arrived! The check in and out process was a breeze! Location was great, views of the mountain from our cabin. They let us choose which cabin was best suited for us as we had two large dogs, and the cabin selected had a good size area to let our pups outside when needed. It was a cozy cabin, wifi worked well, and we were able to settle down in the evening with snacks and movies using Tubi on the TV. The cabin had a small amount of kitchen utensils and they had a hot plate, kettle, microwave, mini fridge, and the necessities we needed to make a small meal and coffee. Bathroom was quite small but expected for a studio cabin. Overall pretty clean, they provided pillows and extra blankets although we travelled with extras. No designated parking lot for the cabins, we had parked on the street across from our cabin. We will definitely stay again!
