Based on price and other reviews, I didn’t have very high expectations. The biggest issue we had was the cleanliness. The floors needed to be swept, dusting needed to be done, one chair had an awful stain. We booked here for the kitchenette and it was quite dirty and I was worried we would get sick if we tried to cook. The only lamp in the bedroom was broken. Holes in the bathroom ceiling were plugged with toilet paper. The bed have a large divot in the middle which was awful for 2 people sleeping in it. If we plan to stay there again, we would definitely inspect the cabin first. We did like how quiet it was and that it wasn’t located right in Canmore. I did let staff know and they did try to move contact us and move us cabins, but we were out all day and missed them.

Affordable and Rustic. Close to Banff

The cabins are rustic. They were clean. On the smaller side. Limited utensils, plates etc. Don’t plan on using the pull out beds. They are older and didn’t have the space to fully extend them. Ideally suited for those interested in an affordable mountain getaway. Service was very good. Front office has a phone number to the onsite attendant who would be there in minutes.

The host was extremely accommodating,polite and kind. There was an area outisde where you could have a fire and socialize with other outdoor enthusiasts and firewood available on the property. Overall great experience.
