OK for an overnight stay

Hotel is a little tired in decor but was ok for our 1 night stay and is close to centre of Harrogate. Bed and room were adequate but would benefit from a fridge. We could hear our next door neighbours and did not appreciate their banging / loud tv at 4.30 in the morning!

The first room when checked in was very shabby. I complained to one of the staff. He showed me 2 other rooms to choose from, which were much better. They must have known that that room not very good The rest of the Hotel was fine

The hotel is a bit dated but clean. It’s close to the town centre with lots of pubs and lovely restaurants nearby. We had a lovely stay. Very nice staff. Easy checkin and check out. Would definitely stay at this hotel again

Its a traditional hotel with traditional features and decor. Centrally located in the town centre. Parking but hard to get but parking back of the hotel for £10 24 hours The room was a small double but was a reasonable size room and cozy Staff were friendly Its good value for money and will use again as it suits our needs of location

Lovely hotel, very nice lounge/bar area. We ate dinner in the restaurant, this was delicious, the only downside was that the restaurant was a little cold in the evening and our bedroom was on the borderline of being too cold but we had family in another room and there’s was warm.

Whilst we were there, I heard several customers complaining of poor service and cleanliness of the rooms. However, considering the price we paid for the room over a weekend, cheaper than a premier inn, there was nothing to complain about. We found the Staff acceptable and asked how our stay was. Yes, the hotel needs a massive million pound overhaul as in many places it's falling apart, but of course that renovation would go hand in hand with the price of the room. It's such a great place to stay if you're into old history, as one fills almost like they've stepped back in time. If you're looking for a low budget, but characterful stay, I would recommend this hotel. In addition, amazing location to the town.
