We stayed here overnight while on our way back from dropping my daughter off at VT. I have to say that I am quite surprised by the “8.2” customer rating. The pictures on Hotels.com are EXTREMELY deceptive as nothing looked as great as they made the property to seem. The hallways looked quite rundown and the carpet was pretty dirty. Our room was stuffy with a musty odor. The AC did not work, we were hot all night despite having it set to 66. The carpet in the room felt damp under my feet as well. We were startled awake by an obnoxious knock at the door by housekeeping. I thought it was the police for a minute. Overall we did not enjoy our stay and would definitely stay someplace else in the future. As an aside, I see the same room is $37 tonight as opposed to the $168 I paid. There is no way they only had “5 rooms left” like it said when I booked.

The almost perfect stay
Honestly everything was almost perfect except for the pillows.. too thin and no firmness at all. Needed 3 to equal a single normal pillow. The restaurant had incredible drinks and an amazing meatloaf! Also the location is absolutely perfect distance to just about anything in York, Pennsylvania.

Lovely stay
Room was spotless. Staff is nice. Pool is awesome! Courtyard is so pretty and relaxing area to sit. Food in restaurant is fabulous! The beds are so comfy and slept great.

Wasn’t worth our stay
Tv kept losing signal so couldn’t really watch TV. The neighbors next to us had a a dog that kept barking & the neighbors were running in & out of their room and were letting the door slam all night. Didn’t get any sleep at all. By the time we did go to sleep around 6:00am house keeping was knocking on the door at 9:00. There were also people outside of our back door of the room laughing. These rooms are not up to date. Front part of the hotel looks great but, there is wall paper peeling on the walls in the hallways near the rooms, brown water marks above the shower head in the bathroom. Curb appearance can look better. Front desk lady who was checking me in wasn’t that friendly either. She looked as though she was annoyed when you step in front of her to check in even though I checked in online and just needed my room key.
