First room we were given was not cleaned trash and all still in the room. After getting attitude from the front desk we got a new room and the door would not lock. The bathroom was full of nasty hair and just not kept up. No coffee pot or even phone in the room. Breakfast options were very minimal. Would not stay here again

York hotel

Rooms were being renovated which is a good thing. Hotel showed its age but was in the process of looking very nice. You could hear people in the room next to you. Everything was clean and had power outlets for USB and pronged devices. Bed was very comfortable. Lighting in the room was a little dark. Could use different bulbs or additional fixtures

Your web site said i could check in early for a fee and when i got to property the lady daid there is no early check in also the free breakfast was nasty all bread was boys is stale!!! Also no hot water wore tea also the shower was in the middle of shower it was to my chest

I booked the non-smoking, handicap-accessible room to accommodate my guest. The room looked different from the pictures. When we stepped in, the room smelled of cigarettes and cigars, mostly in the bathroom. The blanket on top of the bed was dirty with what looked like blood and food. The sheets looked like someone had dusted a factory with them. We had to go out and buy sheets and cleaning supplies to clean the room over. I used their rags to wipe the floor because I wasn't buying a mop on a trip. The floors and doors were disgusting. I cleaned the bathroom also, which had mold on the hair dryer and the sink. I had to go to the front desk a few times to get bags for the trash cans that didn't get emptied at all. There was a sign in the bathroom that said that they would be emptied on the third day of our stay. Let's not forget the construction that wasn't mentioned upon arrival. We found out when it jolted us from our sleep a few times. For two days, the bathroom didn't have power. Half of the room didn't have power at all, and some sockets didn't supply much power. I was told we would be refunded half, but it's been the waiting time, and nothing has come. As a travel agent who travels to find hidden gems, this will not be on my list of places to stay or suggest.

Ppl next door to me were up s screaming and fighting all night called front desk with no answer so listened to it for hrs even after cops came so needless to say was not a good night of sleep very disappointed that no one at hotel was able to be reached

Unfortunately a terrible experience. The room smelled extremely strong of cigar smoke and mildew. Staff wouldnt do anything except offer room spray. Left within 5 minutes. I had to call multiple times for a refund. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this was rough.

Disappointed stay

Will not stay here again. It was a handicap no smoking room. We don't smoke, so that was fine, but really didn't need the handicap shower that just had a hole in floor, no drain strainer. The sink was falling off the wall, the bathroom fan was screeching in need of replacing. The people next to us were smoking pot all night, and it was seeping into our room. No coffee pot or tea. TV had channels, but no guide. Very disappointed by my usual choice as preferred. Room was on the traffic side and noisy. Ventilation system(AC/Heat) showed on, but no adjustments.

It was a nice place to stay however I never got the security deposit back. I cleaned the room before I left to make sure it was nice and not a mess. When I called to ask about it they said they never charged a security deposit even though it was the first thing they did when I checked in.
