The beds were HORRIBLE, springs were coming out of the mattress. We paid extra to have a pull out sofa. The mattress was so thin that you could feel the two bars. Ended up sleeping on the floor. Blanket was so thin, had to use extra.

The rooms and hotel were clean. Staff were all friendly and accommodating to our needs. The hot breakfast was good and well-stocked. The only suggestion I have is to get more seats in the pool area.

At around 9:30pm, apparently a family was checked into the room above me. For the next 30 minutes it sounded like they were playing basketball. I finally called the front desk, got no answer. I went down, told the clerk about the noise and was told they were probably just getting settled. He said to call him if it persisted. At 10:30, I called and was told he would call their room. I called him again after 11pm, stating the noise hadn't stopped. He was checking someone in and called me back at around 11:30. He said he had called their room, but they had not answered. He said he would go up to their room. Around midnight, he called, said he had spoken to them. The noise got better, but never stopped. They would start and stop stomping. I didn't get any restful sleep. This hotel has clearly stated quiet hours of 10pm-6am. So I'm wondering why i had to sacrifice my sleep, and why he didn't just move one of us.

I must say, from my first stay back in the summer I wasn't impressed. But management seems to have gotten on top of things. Each time I've been back, everything has gotten better! Even this last time I witnessed a crew cleaning EACH door to the rooms! DEFINITELY a great hotel to stay and staff is ALWAYS professional and courteous.
