I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, this visit very noticeable maintenance and deep cleaning needed. Carpets and other upholstery on Level 2 where we stayed was extremely dirty. We had adjoining rooms and both had not been deep cleaned for a long time, baseboards, fans and walls very dirty. Furniture has not been moved to clean under for quite sometime. On a positive note, bed linens and washrooms were very clean. We had planned to stay at the same hotel in 3 weeks and decided to cancel based on this experience. When I called front desk inquiring about other rooms, they were unable to accommodate a change , indicating the hotel was sold out. They did offer to vacuum the room. I shared the room had been vacuumed, what it needs is a scrub from top to bottom and the carpets need to be cleaned or replaced. Sad, it’s a great location and could be amazing with a little more attention to detail. Tempo Restaurant was lovely for breakfast.

It’s a great hotel and you are in walking distance to pretty much everything! The pedway was a great bonus and Scotia square has a little bit of everything if you’re missing something for the trip!

The room was so warm, the temp cannot be adjusted, bathroom is dirty, linens smelled like an old man slept on it, it stinks and looks like it was not changed. So sorry but never again.
