This is a great option on a budget - location is great. However, the parking is a good 5-10 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel itself is also pretty outdated - specifically the bathroom.

The people next to us were extremely loud people were knocking on our door from 4 am to 8 am the people next to us got arrested destroyed the door beside the enteance and kept opening and shutting their door making it impossible to sleep

The parking situation was very inconveneient and i was not notified prior to booking that it would be so far ro park. Also staff refused to allow me to use cash as a deposit on the room instead of a credit card, which i have done numerous times before. They were going to turn us away from our booking.

I always stayed here no problem for years. This time because of construction there was lots of confusion on how to enter the hotel . There was 4 adults and 1 yr old child waited in a car outside in the rain for for almost 1/2 hr. It wasn’t the employee fault there was miscommunication but definitely should be more signs and direction on how to enter hotel . Thankful for the lady who worked downstairs in the linen , wasn’t your job to help us but you did and we greatly appreciated!!

The hotel entrance is lovely. The rooms are very dated, which would be okay if they were clean. Our room had questionable marks on the wall in the bathroom that we were able to easily clean off. The wall around the window had leaked and the wallpaper was coming loose. There were more dirty spots on the wall by the desk. It looked like food was wiped on there. The headboard was crooked on one bed, and the other one was so close to the outlet that it flickered the lamp when you sat on the bed haha It was affordable, the beds seemed clean, but honestly the rooms need to be updated, and the walls need a good clean. Especially in the bathroom.

The staff were very friendly. The room was clean. There are pedways around the property that connect to Scotia Square Mall and Purdy's Wharf. We were going to the casino and didnt even have to go outside. Since it was pouring rain, this was a great benefit.
