There is heavy construction out front but it didn’t disrupt our stay. I always stay here when I come to Halifax because you can’t beat the price for the proximity to downtown and the walkways to the casino. Highly recommend!

Convenient location - in spite of the ongoing construction in front of the hotel. The decor is looking a bit tired. They did have drinking water dispensers on each floor which was a very good touch.

The bar and restaurant staff were kind and attentive. Front desk staff also. Standard rooms were what you’d expect but the parking fee was a little stiff imo, especially with construction in the street and on the property leaving no other option for parking at all. The location in general was optimal for down town activities such as Scotiabank centre but not far from other venues either.

Parking is convenient but the cost is crazy $21 and 26. Most hotel’s I have stayed in has free parking. Room average, no microwave. My son picked this hotel for our stay because he liked the idea of Scotia Center being part of the hotel. I probably wouldn’t stay there again

There is currently construction going on (and will be for another two years) so you have to take some alternate routes to get in and out of the hotel, but once you’re past that the location is great, easily walkable to major attractions - waterfront, museums, etc. Staff was great and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
