The construction at the Hotel was very noisy. The scaffolding was set up right outside my window and the construction/noise did not stop until 6 pm and then start up again at 07:30 :(

Great location and excellent value

Hotel Halifax is conveniently located in downtown Halifax. Easy walking distance through Scotia Square to restaurants and downtown meetings. Staff is vey helpful and professional, even giving our dog treats.

Had a fine stay here. Was offered an upgrade to a king room on arrival. The room wasn’t renovated but met our needs. Room was clean, a couple of small hairs on the sheets but nothing worrisome. Staff was all fabulous - especially at the restaurant!

This is a comfortable place to stay in the convenience of downtown Halifax. The property is currently undergoing renovations but we were not affected by that.

Love the proximity to the scotiabank center, makes it fantastic to stay for events. Pool and gym facilities were great, not cramped, plenty of space to lounge. Wonderful value for your dollar.
