There was a park with a river within walking distance, the Superstore is on the same plaza, the hotel is beautiful, well maintained, we had very clean and cozy room.

This is not a boutique hotel! Adding somewhat antique style furniture to a tired old property does not make it boutique. Musty smell as you enter hotel. Lobby dark and uninviting. Elevator stinks of mustiness and small. Carpet dingy where it has not been replaced. Bathroom barely big enough for one person. Toilet not totally bolted down so moves when you sit on it and get up. Shower fixtures old and felt like they were going to come out of the wall. Hard to wash hands in sink when fixtures barely fit over sink. Pillows were odd sizes, some were twin size and one was standard. Ice machine did not work so had to go to lobby to get ice. Cheap selection of teas to drink. Also located in a questionable location. Would not have chosen this hotel if I had known its location.

Short staffing, but that is the norm. Exyerior property littered with cigarette butts, entryway hadnt been vacuumed it appeared in sometime, furnishings dated, worn and stained. Key cards on doors failed, however, they were aware and system was being replaced that day. Additionally the bedding in the room was dirty and front desk saw to the changing of the bedding. Staff was very accompanying otherwise.

The rooms were clean and a good size. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The carpet in the stairway needs replacing. Upgrades are happening so hopefully the carpet is on the list. There is not adequate parking at the hotel. Fortunately the nearby Superstore does have a large parking lot.

If you’re looking for a decent price point, then this hotel would be considered. However, if you’re looking for a hotel that’s modernized and in the nice location this hotel is likely not for you. The hotel is extremely outdated and I think they try to make it come off like it’s vintage, but it just comes off low end. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable and the pillows were nice other than that, There’s not any exciting positive things to say. If you don’t mind staring out your window at slum apartment buildings then perhaps you’ll enjoy this hotel. Also, when the hotel was booked, Expedia noted that there was a free continental breakfast but when we went down to inquire on it, they said no, and that was a never a thing and when I went back to my Expedia a few hours later that remark was removed off the Expedia website so a bit of false advertising there and if you’re looking for food at certain times of the day, you won’t be getting it because they only serve food randomly throughout the day And it also said room service and they said there’s no room service. Basic but clean

Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was adequate but needs cosmetic repairs. Clean and well located. Too bad the building across the street is in such disrepair that it brings down the overall safe feeling while staying there.
