Disappointing

When we checked in and arrived in our room, it hadn’t been cleaned. Beds unmade, garbage in room. So, we were moved to a room directly beside the lobby which was quite loud. Breakfast is inexplicably in two locations, but if you come from the direction of our room, you’d only notice one of the rooms and therefore miss out on half of the food options. There were NO signs anywhere. There was a line of 8 people waiting to check in and only one staff member at the desk. Rooms were comfortable and clean but we would not choose to stay here again.

We came an hour and a half after check in with our child, obviously expecting to get right into our room. We were supposed to be placed near friends with their children. We had to wait over an hour in line just to check in, til 5:00 and our room still wasn’t ready. We didn’t get placed near friends as we had been told, and they didn’t get their room until almost 7:30/8:00. Apparently because rooms weren’t clean. People in front of us were given a dirty room. It was the worst check in experience I’ve ever had. And the longest wait. We weren’t even offered a choice to use the pool with the kids while we waited. I have never left a bad review before but this was just something I’ve never experienced before.

I had a terrible experience, with Hockey players and parents turning the place into chaos. I couldn't stay and I had to book another hotel to be able to sleep. No refund from the manager as the solution offered was to stay and "hope" that the noise guests would calm down. I would not recommend this hotel as an option to those looking for a quite place to sleep.
