First of all, the staff was excellent. Courteous, helpful, knowledgeable. I was very pleased with this. My husband and I ate supper as well as breakfast at the hotel restaurant and both meals were very good. I would say that I didn't care for the chlorinated water but there was bottled water available, so no biggie. The complimentary breakfast wasn't just muffins, juice and cereal but there was also hot sausages, scrambled eggs, beans and hashbrowns. Our room was nice - it was laid out well and clean. The only complaints I have is that it was noisy. Room 306 is close to the motor that runs the ventilation system or something and it was very loud. The heat pump didn't seem to work or at least it wasn't correctly calibrated so that we had to set it to 27C (the highest setting) in order to heat the room up to a comfortable temperature. The plug in the sink got stuck in the down position so we avoided using it and reported it to the front desk when we departed. I will probably stay there again but will ask for a room that is nowhere near the ventilation motor or whatever it was that was running and very loud. The view of the Lake was nice. The hotel is in a great location. Parking is close and easily accessible. The lobby was nicely decorated for Christmas... so, it was very welcoming. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.
