I didn't like the room we stayed in. we checked in so late around 10 pm didn't pay attention the same night but realized the smell of the room was so bad besides room was so cold we tried to work the heat did not work and heat was so noisy that my husband couldn't sleep with the noiseroom was too cold with two young children and it had such weird funny smell because we thought only one more night we could handle the smell but was not worth the money and two pillows had hair I was not happy to over all breakfast was ok but make sure to check the room and the beds before check in

we stayed for just one night close to Christmas and everything went well, we were upgraded to a room overlooking the lake and a view of Halifax, our grandson used the pool which he really enjoyed, coffee was available at all time and the breakfast had a lot of choices.Check in and Check out were easy

The breakfast wasn’t very good. The tater tots were chewy and the ham was dry. Also, the pool was so cold we couldn’t go in it. The arcade is a rip off. The tokens are 50 cents each but it’s 4 tokens for air hockey, 2 tokens for pinball machines, etc.

First of all, the staff was excellent. Courteous, helpful, knowledgeable. I was very pleased with this. My husband and I ate supper as well as breakfast at the hotel restaurant and both meals were very good. I would say that I didn't care for the chlorinated water but there was bottled water available, so no biggie. The complimentary breakfast wasn't just muffins, juice and cereal but there was also hot sausages, scrambled eggs, beans and hashbrowns. Our room was nice - it was laid out well and clean. The only complaints I have is that it was noisy. Room 306 is close to the motor that runs the ventilation system or something and it was very loud. The heat pump didn't seem to work or at least it wasn't correctly calibrated so that we had to set it to 27C (the highest setting) in order to heat the room up to a comfortable temperature. The plug in the sink got stuck in the down position so we avoided using it and reported it to the front desk when we departed. I will probably stay there again but will ask for a room that is nowhere near the ventilation motor or whatever it was that was running and very loud. The view of the Lake was nice. The hotel is in a great location. Parking is close and easily accessible. The lobby was nicely decorated for Christmas... so, it was very welcoming. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.
