Wonderful getaway!
First time there & we absolutely loved it! We will definitely be coming back! The bartenders at the Tavern were all super friendly & hospitable & so were the servers at the restaurant. Our meals were all excellent. There wasn’t one we didn’t like. The front desk was very warm & hospitable as well. The grounds were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We loved the pool & hot tub & the sunset deck was a perfect place to watch a gorgeous sunset. We were pleased w/everything! Thank you for such a wonderful getaway! Highly recommend!!!

The spa was disappointing - very small facility for the number of guests staying there and they also charge $65 a day for a guest to use it. I would have given a higher cleanliness rating but room cleaning was nothing more than adding towels and emptying the waster baskets. Not acceptable you're paying close to $600 a night to stay there. The staff were amazing and the food was delicious.

We loved the location and setting, lovely quiet room with a fab balcony and first view. Good to have music via Alexa rather than TV and whilst I would have liked a bathtub, it was a great shower. I also loved the bathroom products and bought some in the onsite shop. Our only complaint would be that some of the reception staff were less than helpful. There was a bit of a "DIY" attitude from some, including a lady who wouldn't book us a table in the onsite restaurant for dinner, telling us to go box it ourselves in the restaurant, when they were busy with breakfast and probably didn't appreciate this. I've never had this happen before, and other staff members on reception were able to arrange this. Maybe she was having a bad day!

We enjoyed our experience at Rush Creek sooo much! We are still raving about how much we enjoyed the property, the amazing views, and our overall stay here! The grounds of the resort are magical, especially in the evening when the fire pits turn on for s’mores! A true mountain lodge experience that’s both charming and modern, we cannot wait to return!

We stayed here for it's extra bedroom feature and proximity to Yosemite. The resort is lovely and just over a mile from the park entrance. We were there for a midweek trip, that extended into the weekend. The midweek portion was great, as the resort was not too busy. During the weekend it was a mad house. I cannot blame this on the resort, but on the parents that had no problem allowing their kids to roam free and wreak havoc. The property is beautiful and lots to do hanging around. A large pool and two hot tubs. All the lawn game you could imagine and a large play area for small children. They had a all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner each night and we joined in two. They were well done and served plenty of food for a reasonable price. We also ate in the restaurant, which was pricey but excellent. Beautiful tavern inside also. The hotel shop is packed with lots of essentials on a remote trip, and we had plenty to eat and drink during our stay. Forewarning, it is at least an hour to get in and out of the nearest trails in Yosemite, so plan ahead for lots of driving while on vacation. And driving on very, very winding, twisting, climbing and dropping roads. Not for the nervous driver. It was not something we had planned ahead for, so I hope to let others know. There are other hotels located inside the park that would have less driving, but Rush Creek was a beautiful escape and I would recommend to anyone. Staff was beyond helpful in extending our stay.
