Hotel is in a walkable part of town for food and shopping. This is not on the beach its a 18 minute walk to the beach or you can wait for the beach shuttle that runs pretty much on a schedule so timing is key for that option. The room is OK. Clean and was convenient with the mini fridge, microwave, and the balcony. The shower was the worst ever in room 235! We had them check it multiple times but never resolved. It would go hot to cold and back and forth and the water pressure was a trickle. The breakfast was limited and sometimes slow service or out of things. The lunch buffet at the resort on the beach was great on Easter Sunday but it was expensive at $50 usd/person. The resort was pretty clean, the plants and grounds were very pretty and they seemed more environmentally conscious with reusable items & lack of plastic. The resort was just OK in comparison to others we have visited.

The general manager was a gem and assisted me with addressing my reservation disappointments.The staff were not accommodating and gave a lot of push back. However the General manager understood and assisted me with addressing my concerns and approved me a refund on my next 4 days. I then booked for the Bay Gardens Resort and Spa location, which cost us 3x the amount. Be aware! Unfortunately the Three Bay Gardens accommodations, share the same Expedia pictures- the pictures reflect Bay Gardens Resort and Spa. I booked the Bay Gardens Hotel based on pictures posted on the site not understanding the pictures represented the sister facility Bay Garden Resort and Spa location. This is a major misrepresentation and our new booking cost 3x as much because of that fact. Make sure you book the Bay Gardens Resort and Spa if the pictures reflect what you are looking for.

The staff and food at Bay Gardens Hotel were lovely, very polite and accommodating - food was tasty and always prepared in quick time. The room however was very small, smelt old and dusty. Bathroom could use some work and also the floor tiles could use an upgrade along with the furniture. Pretty average hotel, wouldn't recommend if you're going to stay for long periods

Check in is very late but we were able to leave our cases and explore. Very close to the mall and the Marina. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was pleasant and facing the pool. The bath area is a bit worn but ok. The beds by the pool could do with updating which seemed to be happening the day before I left. Shame you have to go to the other hotel just for drinks when lounging by the pool. Entertainment is lacking unfortunately.
