Hotel is dated and not very appealing. Manager was nice. Other than that horrible experience. Bed was a rock so we only stayed one night out of two. We came back the second day to a room that was not cleaned. We were given a 1 ounce bottle of shampoo and conditioner with no soap. Not sure how that rations out with 2 adukts over 2 nights. We found it best to just cut vacation short and head home early to get a good nights sleep. Some odd occurances and shady dealings happening out in the open.. For adults who know how to keep their heads low and mind their own business it might not be a bad stay for cheap money. I would not recommend a younger family stay.

Very disappointing stay

The room was not clean. It smelled of stale cigarettes. There was no hot water for a shower. The door did not have a security chain. The complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were not full containers. The lighting was extremely poor and dim in the rooms.

The stay was great! They had better pillows this time, the room was very clean and it was exactly what we needed. If you are looking for an affordable yet high quality place to stay, Affordable Suites is perfect! The staff is also very friendly and they make you feel at home. This will be our hotel every time we come to Greenville 😁

Been staying here off and on for a number of years, first couple with a mgr named Christopher, an excellent experience each and every time at the well run property, then came the first time I wasn’t able to get accommodation but decided to stop by and say hi and found out he had moved to another location, can’t remember the next mgr name though friendly enough I noticed a big change around the outside if the property both who was loitering around and how it was kept up (dead cars, trash etc). Kept away from staying here for a while as every time I passed through it seemed more unsavory later to find out it was full of bad activity. Come another management change to Dana, this one cleaned up the problem and the place was back to the old days and I started staying here again and it was back to what I had been accustomed, clean, quiet, smoke free, and safe. Recently a new manager, Jeanette has taken the helm. When I arrived there was a note she was out and envelopes with name and room # were in mailbox, some guy I thought worked there handed it to me, turned out loitering there. Walked into a sticky floor but rest of place was clean, then late night the noise started from upstairs went to office in am but was unable to talk with mgr and was out for the day, middle of night noise, caught up with mgr next morning and talked she would have another talk with them.Turned out this was a consistent problem happened again now 3am,I left came back for refund and was given. Dead cars etc

Trust you instinct and dont stay here

This place needs a make over. Manager made it a point to tell us that it was a non smoking property, i guess the policy was a suggestion. Every other room someone was smoking, including weed. The carpet in the bedroom was heavily stained, fixtures in bathroom and kitchen were rusted. Ok if its the only place in town. I guess its cheap for a reason, i would never stay here again.
