Nice hotel- shaddy area

The hotel and staff were good but the area is sketchy at best. Homeless and drug users were all around. Hotel staff had to call the police at least twice this weekend. I am a male but felt unsafe walking to my car with child in the evening. Even the staff conveyed to me they have continued issues due to run down Howard Johnson and some other hotels accross the street. Again, the actual hotel and staff were fine. I would never allow my wife to stay at this location.

Very convenient location because of the short distance between the hotel and UNCG. A great breakfast bar, but make the forks, knives, and spoons in an easier to locate place.

Perfect location, great rate, clean hotel good breakfast. staff checking in and out Were awesome. Your advance check has flaws though, as my sister was arriving a little earlier I requested she be allowed to pick up the keys, I gave her information and sent info requested for advance checkin. supplying my photo ID and credit card and a request to give her the key, unfortunately I was still required to produce ID and sign again when I arrived and my sister had to wait in the lobby until we got there.
