The vibe of the hotel was cool. The gentleman who ran the front desk, when we arrived, offered fantastic customer service.
When I checked the bathroom, there was a climb of hair on a bandaid. Gross. The following day, when we went to check out, there was a Taco Bell bag on the beer tap. I assume the guy sitting in the entryway was the night cashier. He didn’t speak to us.
As we loaded out car, at 6:15 a.m., I noticed the security guard sleeping in his car.
We were told breakfast and coffee would be available at 6:00. We planned on leaving by 6:20/6:30. No breakfast. No coffee was out at 6:15. A lady, I assume an employee, walked in as we were walking out to load the car. When we came back in, we walked around the first floor, looking for breakfast. She went behind the counter and told us she could get breakfast ready in a few minutes. She didn’t have a name tag on, or anything to indicate she worked there.
We booked here because it included food. We had to leave to make it back for a meeting, so couldn’t wait around.
