Attended the New Years Celebration. Excellent!!! Everything was top notch from the staff to the food to the room, the band, the DJ, the photo booth. Being an ex-military pilot it was impressive to see everything done perfectly on time, with extreme attention to detail. Definitely a Five Star experience. Thank-you for all of your efforts and dedication to an outstanding evening.

This was a wonderful time to get to the Heidel House. It was decorated wonderfully for Christmas. The fire place in the lobby was a nice touch and the outdoor fire was wonderful as well. The lake view from our room was beautiful with the lake fog rising off the warm waters. Very pleasant stay.

On the plus side, dinner and the service at Oakwood was fantastic, the room was clean and the beds were nice. It's a historic older hotel so you would expect the rooms to be small. The view was nice over the lake. We could hear people talking in our neighboring room. The inside wooden doors were cheap and tired. For the price (about $350 per night) you would expect a better experience, but then it's Green Lake so everything is a bit pricey. Nice lobby, great bartender and great wait staff!

H Squared (our nickname for the Heidel House) is amazing. Staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous. Evenings at the fire pit were fun and service at both restaurants was a perfect 5/5. Love the view of the lake. Don’t forget to try Sassafras Coffee shop in downtown Green Lake.

Front desk check in was a breeze. They accomadated my request for a lake view with balcony(which was in the WEST building...). ample parking and the Waves pub was sufficient for me. Very close to the Lawsonia Golf and several nice places in town to eat and drink.

Very relaxing environment. However, it was Noisy with the banquet hall next door especially when the party spilled out onto the balcony. For the family, If you have older kids, plan to rent a boat ahead of time to fish or water sport adequately. Golf is an option as well. Otherwise the older ones get bored quickly.
