Good stay in Greeley

We were in Greeley for UNC event for my daughter. Check in was smooth, although we were not able to use a digital key. Not that big of a deal. In the morning we had a note under a door saying the city shut off the water (not just for the hotel), We were checking out early, so not a big problem for us. None of us showered that morning anyway. The restaurant was closed because the water issues. Overall, it was a good stay. We didn’t really have any memorable interactions with the hotel staff. We would book again.

Wrong room type, oversold hotel, no cleaning

Just some notes… we had a reservation for a room with two queen beds. They gave us one with one king and said they were sold out and don’t guarantee room type. Asked if we could switch the next day and they said they were oversold the next day… Next day a friend wanted a room, I told her they’d said it was oversold (I don’t know how they’re allowed to do this) but she looked online, saw availability and booked a room. Got to hotel after a long day and they did not have a room for her despite the reservation. We were there three nights and they never cleaned the room. The second day cleaning crew knocked on door so we said we’d leave to get out of the way. All they did was replace towels - didn’t make bed, empty trash, nothing else. Very strange and doesn’t seem like Hilton standards.
