Staff was great, but property is older and showing it. Thin walls, old furniture and beds. Lots of road and railroad noise, but all hotels on that road would have that issue as well.

Mini Staycation
We took a mini staycation with our neighbor friends to enjoy a night in Grants. The motel was nice and we enjoyed the very friendly customer service by the night clerk. We like that the motel is pretty much in the middle of all the “to dos” in Grants. If we had known that pets were welcome we would have taken our little guy, Bassett Dachshund cross. Next time for sure.

I got to meet the owners of this classic motel. They are working to renovate the property and personally showed me to my room. It was a lovely change of pace from the generic hotel experience.
