A little disappointed
I stayed for 4 nights and on the second day the hotel ran out of caffeinated coffee pods for the rooms. I had to buy some because the workers didn’t know when they would be getting more. They do provide coffee downstairs with breakfast, but I’m the type of person who drinks my coffee before I leave the room for the day. Also- no complimentary water bottles? This surprised me as they always used to have 2 bottles in the room at the beginning of your stay. Overall, my stay was decent, but I stay here about once every 7 weeks, and I was disappointed with the lack of supplies in the rooms. Maybe it was because it was after Christmas and staff and supplies were limited. I will stay here again- and bring my own coffee and water “just in case”.

The parking lot was snow and slush covered making it difficult for someone who is disabled to walk. Hate to have been in a wheelchair. Handicap signs are only on the ground so are covered up with snow and useless. Signs on the wall would alleviate misunderstandings.

My Wife and I enjoyed our stay very much! The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were in excellent condition. The hotel parking lot was in good shape. Just watch out when entering from the mall parking lot as there are some bad potholes in between mall and hotel.

I loved the lady that was in the breakfast buffet. She was absolutely amazing! So friendly and smiling and cheerful every day we went down. The gentleman who checked us in was horrid. Everything was booked in my name (a woman) and my husband told him it was all under me and I was checking us in. The man refused to look at me or even acknowledge me. Wouldn’t take my information for the two rooms. Would only make eye contact with my husband and address him. My husband said several times both reservations were under me and was ignored. If you cannot assimilate to Canadian culture and show respect for both genders, then go back because respect is for all persons. My husband was quite offended. Then the parking lot being unplowed or at least the wheelchair accessible spots could have been, but were not. Turned into a fight to get someone to move out of one that was marked on the ground but no signs anywhere on a wall or infront of a spot. Our father needs and has proper tags to park in wheelchair accessible spots. And due to the lack of any snow removal people were parking in the spots. Unless you check for the blue and yellow, anyone who is lazy just pulls into the front door parking. Then you make a complaint to the front and it starts a fight where someone can’t let go they parked in a spot they clearly do not need (no tags) and we spent the last few days with mister grouch and his grinch wife calling us derogatory names. Meanwhile a simple sorry I didnt see the sign and done
