The older buildings were simple and clean. Our unit didnt have the heat working so we moved to a newer building which was more modern and spacious. Suggest not staying near the end by the stairs as very noisy when people go up and down at night and early morning. Front desk Amber was very helpful and accomodating when we didnt have heat. We appreciated her help!
Very basic room, with a very small bathroom. Other than that, the room was what I expected. The bed was great, and the place was very clean, which to me is main criteria. It's not impressive, but they do a good job with an old building. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone without high-class taste.

Good service, dated facilities
Staff and service was very good and helpful. Heater was not working great due to snow and cold so they offered us a different room and brought blankets and space heater in a snowstorm. Overall the rooms are dated, a little small, and not especially clean. Needs a refresh. Loved the lodge and restaurant.

Beautiful property in the park. Would like to see the rooms updated.
Great location to the Grand Canyon visitors center and walkable. Having a general store (which was really nice), Starbucks on sight as well as the Tavern and main dining room. Gift shop had lots of great merchandise.
We loved our time at YAVAPAI LODGE and the Grand Canyon. Anna at the lodge front desk was very helpful at route planning/updates when snow hit on 3/13/25 and 3/14/25. She was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and helped us explore all of our options when more snow was on the way.
It was great to be in the park. This saved so much time in the morning and we could just get a hiking.

The property is in the canyon, the wild
Life is around, the views are majestic but the property itself needs updating. The staff is friendly and serviceable.
