Everyone here is nice. The room is clean and adequate. There were multiple buildings. We were a distance from the main lodge. The bus shuttle did not stop by our complex, closest bus shuttle a distance away. Too late we realized there were not enough towels for the Reserved 4 adults that were in the room. Make sure you ask for extra towels before you settle in. One of my biggest complaints is there is no balcony and there were “random” chairs around the complex to sit. Just a few for a complex of approx 15 rooms. So if you wanted to just hang out by your room or run out and make a phone call, there was really no place to do that. Plus after walking and hanging out at the canyon, we were exhausted. We would’ve liked a to place to sit and relax. If you have a family and it is a busy week the wait for dinner is 1-2 hours. They can’t handle it. The breakfast buffet is excellent! The mini fridge is super mini. Can’t even fit a container of milk. There is an ice machine for every complex which may not be working if extreme cold. We like to have ice. That said, it’s affordable, it’s adequate, but there are a few things they could do to make it a lot better.
This is a casual property with a laid back fee. The interior is a bit dated but it was clean and the beds very comfortable. We were only in it to sleep. Close proximity to shuttle or for driving to the rim. Great general store with breakfast sandwiches and any other provisions you might need. Also a nice tavern with outdoor space for an afternoon beverage after hiking. For the money it can’t be beat!
Great room, right inside the park with a shuttle stop next to it and dining options across the street. Quiet and comfortable and convenient!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
This is a good less expensive place to stay near the rim of the Grand Canyon . The bus system will take you to the rim so you don’t have to worry about parking which is at a premium. The property is quite worn given very high usage. If you are willing to carry your bag up to the second floor, I would recommend that as the downstairs rooms are quite noisy with families on the second floor. The check-in was easy and the front desk staff very helpful. You are located very close to the marketplace and the bus stop.
Perfect location if you dont mind a small walk to the rim. Clean and convenient. They dont have much space for leaving luggage if you have come without a car and need somewhere to leave it before check in. When they realised we didnt have a car were able to give us rooms closest as possible to the lobby.
