Loved this place. Friendly helpful staff at checkin. The place was immaculate, linens were clean, beds were comfortable. IMAX and many restaurants were within walking distance, some restaurants offered a discount with room key. Close to Grand Canyon Park entrance. No breakfast offered, but 24 hour coffee in the lobby. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for the first time in the Grand Canyon, nice place, short drive to the GC National park. Front desk was very nice and accommodating we needed an extra bed and they brought it to our room ($15 extra) my daughter said it was comfortable, better than some couch pullouts at other hotels. We didn’t get to the pool or hot tub but they looked good. Overall would recommend this place as an affordable hotel for families or couples.

Basic hotel

We have no strong feelings about the Red Feather Lodge either way. It’s a very basic hotel and gives off a vintage motel vibe. The rooms were clean. The hotel, overall, is in good condition and well maintained. We felt safe. The beds are too soft and need to be replaced. One major drawback is there simply isn’t enough parking. If you don’t want anything but a bed to sleep in and a bathroom, this is fine. It is too expensive for what it provides.

We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. The season outdoor pool and Jacuzzi were really clean. The pool was heated to 89 degrees, which was warm enough for my kids to swim even when the temperature was in the 40s and 50s. The roll away bed was also comfortable, and we had no complaints.

Even though we were in the older motel building our room was clean, spacious, and nicer decorated. The only negative was that we were on the ground floor and the floor above us squeaked every time the occupants walked around. We didn't notice it in the evening, but they became quite active around 6:30 AM and we were not able to sleep in as planned. Overall this was a good value and a nice place with friendly staff in a great location.

The fan/ac/heat was so loud and rattling that we couldn’t keep it on at night because it kept us awake - we couldn’t keep barely hear the tv when we were watching at night because it was so loud. So because we couldn’t use it at night, it got very very cold. There was no WiFi in the room: when we called the front desk, they said they didn’t have any rooms available for us with WiFi, despite there being only four cars in the entire parking lot and many many empty rooms. The pillows were tiny and hard. The bathtub was dirty with black smudges. The shop, restaurant, pool were all closed for the season, not as advertised on the website. the website photos of this hotel do not look at all like the room we were given. the bathroom was much less spacious and quite basic. The fixtures were old, the paint chipping, the interior old, cheap, and depressing. This was the only disappointing hotel on our route and I hope they atleast update their information to reflect the reality of their offerings.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Red Feather Lodge. The staff are really helpful and personable. We arrived during a snow storm, and they provided scrapers for our car. They also gave us information about road closures. I appreciate how helpful and friendly the staff are. The complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby was a nice touch too. The hotel was clean, and the room was great.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, staff were nice and polite/happy to help. Great location for visiting the Grand Canyon and right next to the airport if you want to do a helicopter tour.

Expensive and rush you out

As soon as I got to the hotel it was around1:30 pm and they let me check in the customer service was good. I only stayed for a day. Next day my check out wasnt until 12pm. They knock at the dorr at 9:30 and they even open it i has to yelled still here. An hour later they cleaning knock again and I had to say still here. The price was too expensive and they didnt offer breakfast only coffee all day.
