Great stay at the Maswick Lodge. November is a great time to visit - it's colder, but the crowds are pretty much gone, and the scenery is just as good as ever. Very pleasant rooms, easy parking, easy convenience to the canyon rim. Definitely a good option to the more pricey option of the lodge.

Property was great, the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The shuttle services is right there and multiple hikes / trails you can walk to from the property.

About a 10-15 minute walk to the start of Bright Angel trailhead. Plenty of food options within Maswik Lodge. Good spacious room.

Maswik is very well located, very close to Red Route bus stop which takes visitors to Hermit Rest. But the hotel itself is very old with dirty carpet. The WIFI is the worst ever, it was impossible to connect with it. I went to front desk to ask, the lady was very nice to apologize and helped me successfully connected at front, but it didn’t even open one page here. When I walked out of reception, it was total gone. They don’t provided any paper maps. Only post barcode to scan for Park information, so without internet, you can’t do anything especially for first time visitors. I regret to book this hotel.

Staff member working guest services was not polite at all. She just pointed out the window where we needed to go. No Hello or Good Morning. She was annoyed we had questions. Wrong person to work guest services desk. Not Lodge issue but Driver of shuttle just kept yelling at people, she was rude!
