The check in was hectic only due to front desk office hours, ans then they have phone number to call with urgent issues which you leave on voice mail but NO ONE answers or replies. Tried several times with no luck.
There's a lot of history at this hotel, felt like sleeping in a museum. Friendly staff, very accommodating, excellent communication, highly recommend staying here. One exception -- not hotel's fault, the trains blast their horns a few times per night, hotel staff has complimentary ear plugs in the room. Continental Breakfast was awesome, fruit basket had great quality fruit as compared to pricier hotel chains.
Perfect hotel off historic Route 66 to Grand Canyo
The newly renovated hotel was amazing. Debora at the front desk was the most delightful lady. We love her. We recommend having a microwave to heat the pastries, a heater in the beautiful library in order to enjoy more in winter months and two heaters in suites with two rooms. It’s way too cold to have one.
This is a historic boutique hotel on the old Route 66 in Williams, Arizona. It is very well renovated and the inn keeper is awesome. Warm, inviting, a step back in time.

We stayed one night in the family suite after taking Polar Express with our Grandson.
Clearly the hotel is old... After reading the letter that was in our room that said "Our Story" We understood more about the Hotel.
The building was built in 1891. It was abandoned about 1970 or 1980. In 2004 it was purchased and the owners ran it as a Hotel. In 2023 it was purchased by the new owners who have made improvements but noted they have come a long way... but have further to go in making the needed repairs.
Our room had 2 bedrooms and a sitting room. The sitting room had a portable heater and one of the bedrooms had a portable heater.
We gave the rating for the reasons below:
One bedroom had a window Air Conditioner that had gaps and the COLD air was coming in the room from the outside. (We had to move a portable heater in to get the room warm to sleep) Williams Az in Mid December you cane imagine how cold it was in the room...
NOTE: When we told the morning front desk person in the morning about the problem we basically got ZERO response from her...
Also, in December you can imagine how cold the rooms are that had no portable space heater in them when we got up in the morning.. ie Bathroom and Sitting Room.
