Worth it

Stayed at Abbey for a night on a stopover to Sydney. I wouldn't recommend it more. Easy to get, easy to check in and the place is spotless. Driving around the city I couldn't see any other accommodation that looked better than the Abbey motel

A Home Away From Home.

The Abbey has been our place to stay in Goulburn for quite a few years now. It never disappoints. The staff are very friendly and the room's are always clean . The mattresses are the best by fay of any place that we have stayed in. The pillows are excellent as well. There's no problem getting to sleep, the motel is in a very quiet area, it's also close to restaurants and shops. A home away from home.

The price Wotif offered and charged was $190, the motel charged my credit card $230. I was given a refund after checking and querying my account. I was also charged $6.05 for an ''international transaction'' fee by my bank (CBA)-- I'm not happy about any of this and will book my travel direct in future.

A lovely property. Quiet & conveniently located. Stylishly decorated but not altogether practical. The bathroom hand basin design was such that water splashed on the vanity & floor. Bedside lights were difficult to turn on & off. These may be small shortcomings but do make for an enjoyable stay.
