Parking is located offsite and a shuttle provides transportation from the parking lot to the property. In order to reach the offsite parking lot please follow the below instructions. Take the Trans Canada Highway heading west towards Field and Golden, BC. The turnoff to Emerald Lake Lodge is located 1 kilometer west of Field, BC. Follow the road for 8 kilometers until a sign that says 'Overnight Guest Parking.' Turn left into the parking lot. In the parking lot is a cabin. Use the telephone in the cabin to call the front desk. A shuttle will be sent to pick up guests.

We love the rustic look and feel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant and lounge were both great. The room was a little chilly, we had to use the small plugin heater in the room. The fireplace is a wonderful touch. The only issue is the wood was not well seasoned so it took a bit of fussing to get the fire going well.

Emerald Lake Lodge is one of the ,most beautiful places we have stayed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food in the bar and restaurant was outstanding! We will be back!

Find the set up very awkward especially in the winter. The shuttling back & forth to your car is quite inconvenient. Also the lack of wifi in the rooms also inconvenient. However, the property is in a beautiful environment.

An honest review with a twist

We found the rooms to be less than good. The beds were uninviting, very hard, was hoping for “floating on a cloud” feeling. There was a dirty Kleenex under the night side table, the vacuuming and dusting was less than acceptable, and the bathroom was dirty, toilet seat wasn’t wiped, when you looked at the ceiling it was full of dirty water drops. The reason for my harshness is the price tag of the room. You need to do a complete Reno then you can charge what you do. 200.00 a night would be reasonable. The hot tub was also out of order on Friday night. All that being send we loved our stay. Your staff and the beautiful main resort are lovely, the ambiance in the lounge was very relaxing. The scenery and out door adventures certainly help add to the overall stay.

Gorgeous location, cozy rooms, but outdated.

Beautiful location and cozy rooms, albeit outdated for sure. The drivers in the vans were super friendly and welcoming. But the worker at the check-in desk was not very helpful and hardly explained how the shuttle system worked, which made things a bit confusing. I think it was worth it for the $200 we spent to stay here in the Winter for sure, but can't say I could justify spending $700+ here per night in the Summer.

Amazingly beautiful and peaceful, property. We had our small wedding ceremony here and loved the beautiful setting. The staff is kind and helpful. The lodge itself is cozy with wood fireplaces in every room. The Point Cabin is to die for! The 180 degree views of the lake are breathtaking.
