Parking is located offsite and a shuttle provides transportation from the parking lot to the property. In order to reach the offsite parking lot please follow the below instructions. Take the Trans Canada Highway heading west towards Field and Golden, BC. The turnoff to Emerald Lake Lodge is located 1 kilometer west of Field, BC. Follow the road for 8 kilometers until a sign that says 'Overnight Guest Parking.' Turn left into the parking lot. In the parking lot is a cabin. Use the telephone in the cabin to call the front desk. A shuttle will be sent to pick up guests.

Outstanding outdoor scenery but rooms are old and need to be updated. We did not sleep all night and I can anywhere. No air conditioning, pillows uncomfortable, old rugs…. But great service and resto outstanding food! The emerald lake is spectacular. But not the hotel.

A very special place. It's unique to be able to drive to an alpine lake surrounded by such stunning peaks. Loved the room with fireplace and the Burgess dining room food and service were top notch.

This is our place that we have been going to for the last 4 years, as our anniversary get away weekend. Will definitely continue to be coming here. Beautiful views, the hiking options are beautiful, definitely would suggest cramp ons and or snow shoes as you climb elevation however each year we have noticed the ice thaws out sooner and the area is warmer than the year before. Have a bunch of great things to say, however this was our first experience where we feel that the room we had stayed in had poor ventilation as when we first entered the room we noticed the smell of smoke from the tenants prior to us. Shrugged it off as its expected when you have a fire place n your room. However, when we lit ours for the night the room became quite hard to endure with the potent smell of smoke. The smoke detector was functioning as the tenant above had triggered theirs, but had me questioning in during the stay as we were concerned of our little one having to breathe this in.

The resort would be so much more beautiful with some fresh paint and a bit of fixing up. The rooms were run down. We loved the peacefulness of the stay but for the price the rooms are very run down.

You can’t beat this beautiful lakeside location. The property was gorgeous and the food was exceptional. Eliza was our server for lunch and dinner and she was amazing. We loved our lakefront cabin and the hot tub. Once the day visitors are gone, you really have this place to yourself. Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour and a half past check in time for our room to be ready with little more than an apology from the front desk. We had some other service issues with the front desk staff as well and it seemed most of the staff was in training.

The staff were the nicest people we have ever encountered. The unit we were assigned was unacceptable... needed a complete renovation. Dark, smoky, rotten boards on the deck and i almost feel thru the rotten railing on the deck. When I complained, they were kind enough to transfer us to another unit but charged us another $94.00 on top of the $400 we had already paid. Many other units are in need of immediate attention.
