Tiki Hotel is in a fabulous location. Supermarket, shops a two minute walk. Beach was seven minute walk away. We had a first floor balcony room. The balcony was tiny and easily accessible from people passing by to go to the pool. My daughter had a 5th floor room and the view was amazing. Hotel is old and didn’t alway feel safe. Windows on first floor didn’t lock. Hotel is noisy. Can hear people using the shower and pipes rattling . Overall it was cheap accommodation. We would stay again, but not in the balcony room.

Outdated which is fine but it was dirty and not maintained. We had loose tiles in the hotel on the stairs located inside our apartment and a dead cockroach on the floor. The bed linen was minimal and overall cleanliness was poor. Good location

The location is very good. Easy check in & car parking price good. The cleanliness of the room was pretty poor in most areas. The place is very very noisy. Me and my family stayed for 5 nights & all nights were horrible sleeps. Our bathroom mat wasnt replaced. I understand that room service is not an everyday thing however on the day that the cleaner went in, the bedroom sheet got made nicely on the bed but the whole place didn't even get vacuumed. There were 2 thin mink blankets for a family of 4 which didn't seem clean, thankfully we had more than 2 sheets to put under the blankets. There's the saying - you get what you paid for .. In my opinion, I think the price is more than what it should be.

Whilst the apartment was huge, it was like going back in time to the 70s or 80s in terms of the decor and fixtures. Needs a serious update and the noise from outside was unbearable so need to replace all windows with double or triple glazed windows. In the heart of Surfers Paradise is noisy and the apartment is not suited to. Definitely not value for money!

Very good position close to surfers paradise, and staff were lovely I found the venue very dirty needs a good clean and fresh coast of paint. Glass sliding cupboards fell off when closing them had to put them back on their tracks and ceiling fans need cleaning. Comfortable beds, noise of traffic was hard to sleep through though.

I love Tiki, we stay here all the time. It's affordable and so close to everything. The only issue we seem to have is I book for 6 but never get the sheets, blankets or towels for all. We have to go to reception each stay for them

It was ok for a budget hotel need extra cleaner that is thorough though. Loud area of course due to being in the city centre but spa was nice in our room and an awesome view fully equipped kitchen not that we cooked but it had everything u needed. Needs more cleaning around pool area and laundry though as dirty lazy tenants leave things like used nappies and band aides around the pool. Use need to reopen a restaurant and bar.
