Lovely clean and spacious property. Beds very comfortable, quiet thanks to double glazed windows. Staff were lovely providing a smooth check in. Walking distance to all entertainment, shopping and great restaurants. Would definitely return to this hotel.

It was almost perfect. There were some renovations going on at the time so the wait for lifts could be extremely long, but everything else was wonderful. Take your own face cloth and hot chocolate as these aren’t provided. The staff were lovely!

While the room and parking were fantastic, the lifts were awful. You had to wait for 10mins at times, and/or they wouldn’t arrive. We were stuck on our floor for over 10mins on checkout day, then getting to our car took even longer. They had 3lufts on one side, only 2 seemed to be working, but it was terrible..

The hotel and the room were fine but the bed was hard as a rock - I actually had to triple up the doona and sleep on that. Also was not able to connect to the wifi, and when i did it would just drop out after a short while and not reconnect - which was annoying as I had business calls to do. One annoying thing, reception did not get me to sign the paperwork at checkin, but i did not appreciate the 5 calls to get me to come sign, when they had my credit card in any case

Ridiculous long wait for an elevator. Hard surfaces that render the unit anything but homely. Very high credit card surcharge. Requirement to furnish a lot of personal ID data that gets recorded, just to check in. Internal bathroom with no exhaust fan. To get Wi-Fi you have to agree to receive marketing info from Merriton - why? Seems youthful guests like this place, and they like to make a lot of noise on the floor, waiting for an elevator. Mine was really a sub-standard experience overall.

The staff were really friendly and the room was nice enough. The only complaint is that the shower had barely any pressure and for some reason a cleaner entered our room before checkout time while i was in just my underwear so that was a little awkward.
