Property needs maintenance, lock to balcony door was broken and hanging off, not secure and mould in shower. The only positive was the fantastic service we received by the gentleman that worked in the kitchen, he was extremely helpful, unlike reception staff member. Properly and rooms need a good clean and rooms need renovation.

For a budget option its a good choice - quiet. No traffic around. Indercover parking. Lift not just stairs. A few blocks drive away is a decent park. From the motel, you can walk along looking at harbour boats. Nice pool with baby pool on side (it is not a spa). Not heated, but we had a nice swim. There is a table tennis table but someone needs to donate another set of kmart bats as they are all broken. I would not pay more to stay here though. It is rundown and unkept. Unkept includes: - room doors replaced and will not open, but reception is closed every day until midday - you are locked out. - kids going to play big chess set and walking through smashed glass bottle. I got a broom and swept it up. - things like no handle in the shower to open or close the shower door. - if you want even 1 knife, you need to go get it from the cafe or a plate etc. Nothing is kept in rooms. No toaster due to fire alarms. - cafe had the worst coffee ive ever paid for and ive paid for instant coffee. The kids had a waffle and icecream and it was okay. I got eggs and bacon. Couldn't eat the eggs or the toast. Ate the bacon. - tv would not work. When i found staff they said it was new and only 4 moths old but it freezes so you have to turn it off at the power board every time befire using it. Maybe they couls note that somewhere for every single person who has no working tv in that room.

We have rated this average. It was ok for one night as we visited Dreamworld. It was nice and close to the theme park, which was great! Hotel was dirty in areas, needs a really good clean and some tlc.

The whole experience was terrible from the get go..arrived lift wasn’t working ,given the wrong room not what I paid for,complained to staff at reception,he commented he couldn’t change it as it was full ,but continue to find another one ,gave us the room with a Seaview with a broken toilet ,so down I go to compain again to be moved and I showed photos of the toilet so he looked at moving us again to the next level up 3rd floor only to find we couldn’t get in..we went back down to reception to let him know and he had gone home..so luckily we had the keys to the previous room with the broken toilet and we had no option to stay the night there fearing it could flood or we could hurt ourselves using the toilet..we couldn’t wait to check out the next morning..What a bad experience..I tried to ring and complain to the manager and get a refund but she abruptly said a Big No and hung up…So there you have it ..Never again will I stay there and be subject to the staff speaking to me like that especially management..I highly recommend people not to stay there..I know I won’t!!!!

This place was 100 percent value for money. We paid $397 for 3 nights. Nothing close to that for the area you are in. The place is set out brilliantly and we loved our stay there with our 3 kids. Our youngest shared the bed with us. I would highly recommend this place for anyone travelling to the Gold Coast. It is close enough to surfers and all the shopping precincts but a lot quieter than your usual surfers, Broadbeach style apartments.
