We had a 17th floor room, which seeing as its not that old feels dated and somewhat lacking. Its very expensive for a 4 star hotel but we had little choice on a last minute business trip. The Gold Coast is expensive for what you can get internationally and a large shopping centre in the sun. Beat to be avoid unless you have to go

The hotel is excellent, staff were amazing. Only negative was no onsite parking. We opted to park at The Star, which is the best parking when staying at the Dorsett. Unfortunately, it was hard to find, and the signage to exit the carpark was very confusing. Not enough Exit signage.

Amazingly convineient with multiple options for dining, entertainment and shopping. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Would suggest maybe staff check with customer before charging parking fees for example, as we did not even have a vechile

A night out to the Casino or Business trip
The Hotel is very nice and comfortable ideal for business or one night stay. I was surprised see the some of the grout lines in the bathroom need attention for a good clean. Had trouble getting hot water at 10pm and hated wasting so much water to no avail. No problem in the morning. The online photos are accurate, and parking was quite reasonable.
