Nice property with easy access to downtown. Room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in the main lodge and our daughter stayed in the motor lodge. Would recommend.

What we didn't like. The room could have been cleaner. The rooms fridge only kept items cool, not cold. The bathroom was very small, no place to set or hang items.. There was a closet like area, with a clothes rod for hanging clothing. Regretfully, there were no clothes hangers.

A lovely place to spend the night. There was a wedding going on when i arrived, so the whole place was beautifully decorated and the atmosphere quite festive! The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was devine!!

What a perfect get away location. We were greeted by John and Chef Dave. The room was comfortable and the memory foam beds were awesome. Linens and towels were 1st class. Enjoyed mother's Day brunch, chef Dave is incredible will definitely be back

The Innkeeper and staff were very accommodating. The room was very clean and all we really needed for a few nights. The rooms were updated. We would have liked a table or bench or chair to put items on or sit on. There was not enough room in the bathroom to put toiletries. We would go back.

Chef Dan and Kamden made our morning breakfast buffet experience even more enjoyable! Food was delicious and we loved how hospitable they were. John greeted us upon arrival and made some great recommendations about restaurants and touring Gloucester. We stayed in the Inn in room Sunnyside up on third floor which had such a comfortable bed! There is some traffic noise so bring air plugs. The view from this Inn is soothing and cozy. The Crane Estate in Ipswich and the Hammond castle are a must see. Causeway restaurant right down the hill from Castle Hill Inn has delicious food. It’s a BYOB establishment. When booking make sure you choose the option that does not say lodge in description because they do have 2 motor lodges on the property which are separate from the Inn. This Inn is for those of you who appreciate the esthetic of an older historic home and the non hotel vibes that it comes with. We did have a fridge in our room along with a hair dryer. If you’re looking for a wedding destination at a unique location this is a must see. They also host small functions and events. The staff is what added so much quality to our visit for sure!

The bathroom was a little small but the bed was incredibly comfortable and the house is beautiful! Everyone was super nice and the prices were reasonable. I would happily stay here again.
