I was expecting a Mountain View since I paid extra for Mountain View If I looked around the apartment building I could kind of see a mountain. Parking is also a nightmare here. The building and staff are very nice though

A lovely and cozy hotel with a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful, making you feel right at home. One of the highlights is the charming coffee shop on the property — the coffee is absolutely delicious! A perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay.

We will definitely be back..

Enjoyed my stay at Hotel Maxwell! We slept in the first night but was able to grab some coffee and bagels at Wild coffee, everything was delicious! The hotel is in a great location and we were able to walk to for all of our meals, we caught the shuttle to the Gondolas and back to the hotel after a day at Iron Mountain Hot Springs. This made the trip so easy! Glenwood is a very cute town and everyone was so nice. We will definitely return and stay at Hotel Maxwell again!

Just got back & can save it was a great stay/trip. Hotel was very accommodating & clean. QR codes at desk for discount tickets to Iron Mountain. Recommend 5 hours. With 1-2 blocks from a mini Glenwood Downtown with restaurants, dive bars, etc. Lookibg forward to going back.

The hotel was nicely decorated, with good vibes and a friendly staff. The room was cozy, but the bed was NOT comfy at all. Our first night there, we must not have had anyone in the room underneath us, because the second night there every time the air conditioning kicked on in the room below, it sounded like we were in an airplane. The sound and vibration from the HVAC below was so loud, I was tempted to go down to the front desk at 2 in the morning and ask for a different room. I ended up powering through, but didn't get a lot of sleep. The service at the attached brewpub was TERRIBLE (and the food wasn't much better) and it all closes at 9 - which I thought was a missed opportunity, as even a little bar in the lobby or a few room service food options would have been nice after a long day at the hot springs. No real amenities either - no pool, spa, hot tub, gym, or dog area, and parking is $20/day and the lots are not attached to the hotel. It's not a bad stay, it's just not great.

We just stayed one night and it was great. Clean, comfortable, cozy. The only downfall, which was minor overall, was the lack of parking. Beautiful hotel!

Glenwood Springs hotel

Gorgeous hotel in downtown Glenwood Springs! Super convenient to the train station and several restaurants/retail downtown. Loved the stylishly decorated lobby and rooms. Just a couple of things to note - rooms on the 4th floor are accessible via an elevator that goes to the 3rd floor and then stairs up to the 4th floor. Also walls were a little thin and we could hear our neighbors. Still such a charming hotel and we look forward to staying again soon! The neighborhood is so cute and lovely.

I really loved staying here. The place is really stylish and close to everything. I did not give a perfect rating because you have to request housekeeping everyday and that should not be required. Light housekeeping should happen everyday considering the price paid.
