Quick and easy check-in. Love the historical hotel. The electrical system was added later as it's surface mounted on the wall. Old (disabled) fireplace in the room. Window mount AC works great as does the modern ceiling fan.

Overall it’s a well kept historic property. For the price however the amenities are lacking. It would be great if they had their own pool. The hotel is old so overall noisy, creaking doors, floors etc. We were there for Memorial Day weekend and the kids were running through the halls up until quiet hours. The rooms have window ac units which are loud and our didn’t work well so it was clicking on and off every few minutes which made it difficult to sleep.

Loved the slight old timey vibe of the place. It had a similar feel to the Stanley Hotel. The staff was friendly. The restaurant had good service and pretty decent food. My only minor complaints were that we missed dinner due to them closing early to change out their menu, and I wish the bathrooms in the room were just a little more up to date (like an exhaust fan, newer toilet, and better toilet paper) but I get it. By no means would these be deal breakers in the future.
