Our stay here was cozy and wonderful. The Christmas decorations were gorgeous. The room was clean and big and the bed was reasonable comfy. My only complain is the shower head makes a wailing noise that can be kind of annoying in the morning. But the staff were kind and helpful, and I would definitely stay her again!

The history of the Hotel Colorado is what attracted us the most and certainly did not disappoint. The architecture and features of the hotel were very nice. The bar was nice as well as the view from our room. Thomas the transportation driver m very friendly and gave us some history of the hotel as he drove us to the Iron mountain hot springs. The Christmas decorations inside the hotel were lovely as well. We will definitely be back and would recommend this hotel for a romantic and quiet getaway.

For the age of the hotel, it’s nice. We could hear people walking above us and in the hall way (loud). Oddly, at 4:30AM I heard a faint piano playing. May have been a ghost…. I wouldn’t stay here again for the price.

I loved the history a out the hotel. The room was very comfortable, although with it being as old as it is, the bathroom door squeaked very loudly which is not good while the other person is sleeping. The room above us had what it seemed and heard like a basketball game going on. Running, ball bouncing after 10:00 p.m. Security had to be called to quiet them down. The next morning around 6:30 a.m., it started all over again. So frustrating!!

Nice midweek stay
We were here for an overnight stay. We love the character of the hotel (not a hotel that looks like every other) and the room was very quiet and comfortable. We will stay here next time we are in town. All service personnel were very good, helpful, and polite. Overall a good experience.

It’s a very old building ( World War II era ) I did not pay attention. The heating is done by steam via a boiler. No option to make it cold except opening the window which has no mosquito/bug netting. I personally prefer somewhere contemporary. However it has its old world charm and it’s decorated so warm and cozy for Christmas.
