The only reason I chose this hotel was for the convenience of the on site restaurant and lounge,it was all closed the Tuesday I was there,also the surprise $14 charge to park my car in there parking lot was a another disappointment,the room was very nice.

The hotel was totally impressive! From the lobby to our room everything was just wonderful. The lady and the young gentleman at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.

Great Hotel - But Expensive Parking
I was surprised by a $15 parking fee - I have only been charged that in downtown cities - they had a huge parking lot that was 1/4 full. Seems like a way to advertize a lower room rate, since few would expect parking fee in Parachute, CO

It is ludicrous to charge a parking fee for a location such as this. In all my stays at similar rural/suburban motels I have never seen this.

ATTENTION, ATTENTION !!! The hotel charge extra for parking $14, besides regular hotel charge. For me was surprised. Room was ok, clean and spacious.

Wonderful place well worth the fee!!
After a disappointing stay on the previous night in a different facility, I was happy to see what an amazing place Grand River Hotel was! Clean, beautifully appointed building with friendly staff who desired to help. This is a 5 star facility which is less expensive than other less desirable places. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again the next time I am in the area.

Pleasant stay
Pros: We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub and our room was nice. We ended up getting the cot for free after I complained about the beds being smaller than advertised. Convenient location. Cons: It took awhile to get checked in and then our keys didn’t work for the room and the pool area so we had to go back to get that taken care of. We were told there was a $15 parking fee which I didn’t know about so we ended up not paying the fee and parking off site. Breakfast is also for a fee, but I knew that in advance and we brought instant oatmeal to eat in our room. Also the beds looked to be double beds and when I asked to confirm that they were queens, because that is what I booked, the lady at the front desk insisted that they were queens, but they were “small queens”. When I complained because I said my teenage kids needed to share such a small bed she let me have the cot for free which is normally $20. I feel like they are trying to squeeze money out of us here, but in general I thought the room was nice and since my kids loved the pool I would come back, but just be prepared knowing they charge for everything.
