The view was just stunning, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was nice, unfortunately, there was no fridge or microwave. The bathroom only had a tub/shower, so if you can't get into a tub to shower it will be a challenge.

Staff very helpful to extend my time with friend arrival from Hurricane Debbie delays. The pool in leisure center was just the ticket to relieve my stress with rebooking reservations for our continued journey to Ireland. Cant help weather delays. But Balgeddie staff made it tolerable and relaxing after a 4wk whirlwind UK tour with my son who flew back to USA thru Hurricane Debbie reroutes

Room and bed were great, no problems. Went down for breakfast and there were 2 members of staff serving. Around 10 guests at the time. Firstly, there was no milk available for the cereal, but in fairness, they did deal with that promptly. Here's where it went wrong. 2 couples arrived after me and were asked straight away if they wanted tea or coffee. I was still to be asked. After 15 minutes, I asked for coffee and it begrudgingly arrived. Then the 2 couples were asked for their food order. I still hadn’t been asked! I waited 30 minutes, their food arrived and I eventually gave up and walked out. If it was busy, fine, mistakes happen. This was no mistake but utterly disgusting service.

I travelled with my family and my sister‘s family to Edinburgh, and we chose to stay at the hotel at Balgeddie House. We were delighted with our accommodations, an hour from Waverly Station. Our rooms which were both garden rooms were spacious and bright and clean. We had French doors opening onto the garden, which was extremely well-maintained. We ate at the restaurant for two nights as well as for breakfasts. The food was fresh with an extensive menu and excellent variety. The staff at the front desk as well as in the restaurant and at the bar were so sweet and kind. We loved our stay and would be happy to be back again!

Interesting old country house in beautiful grounds but with modern facilities e.g. swimming pool. Staff were excellent and plenty of choices for dinner which was tasty. Only negative is that the bedroom walls were paper-thin and key-card door latches noisy. Luckily our neighbours were quiet. Would stay again.

Great getaway with fabulous staff and facilities
Really enjoyed our family break. The room was clean, tidy and fulfilled our needs. The poole was lovely, clean and our family enjoyed the daily swim. The staff were friendly, helpful, kind and a fantadtic credit to the Hotel.
