Perfect except location
Beautiful hotel lovely room and great facilities, but it was just so noisy through the night and in the morning because of the location (near to the river and the train line etc.) for that reason I probably wouldn’t stay again.

Great location for my trip
The hotel was conveniently located for my trip. The staff were very friendly on arrival and departure and at breakfast. My room was nice. The only small issue was there was a cupboard in the bathroom that must have contained some pipes and that was quite noisy through the night. I was also woken by other guests coming back in the middle of the night but that is not the hotels fault

Had a lovely stay. Warm welcome on arrival with glass nice glass of fizz and cake. Rooms were well equipped. Fridge, coffee maker, kettle, safe, iron and hair dryer. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Great stay at this hotel. We were up for a few days and found the hotel, staff and location were fantastic. The staff can’t do enough for you and were always pleasant and very helpful. The management should be pleased they have got a great team of people. Rooms were spotless and the breakfast was worth every penny along with the relentless staff who were very accommodating and worked very hard throughout service We stayed in the junior suite which was comfortable and very clean All in all you can’t go wrong if you book this place We will definitely be back

We had an easy, early check in which was much appreciated. Lovely room on the third floor overlooking the river. Huge big comfortable bed. Lovely powerful shower. Great selection of tea, coffee and more importantly a clean kettle. Also liked the quality of hand soap and shower gel products in the bathroom. Decorations were lovely in reception and foyer. Would stay again.

We had booked a superior double room but were given room 718 which did not have a walk-in shower. It appeared to be a disabled room with a high toilet and a tiny wash basin. The bed was smaller and lower than standard too. We were quickly moved to another room which was fine for us. The location is very good during the day with many shops and the subway nearby but later it is rather rowdy with pubs and clubs. There were 2 security guards in the hotel lobby when we got back quite late on Saturday. It was rather worrying that this was considered necessary. Other than that we had a pleasant stay. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good.

The location was really ideal and the main hotel area was stylish and comfortable. Our room looked stylish from a distance but in reality there were flaws - paint peeling off wall in bathroom and hairs still around the toilet as well as the room beinf very cold even with the heating on. Our room was also very noisy with what sounded like pipework and it woke me up quite a lot. We also had one of the hotel staff knock and immediately come into our room without permission at around 4pm (he asked if we needed any towels). It was an okay stay but for £135 per night i would have hoped for a better experience
