Lovely 2 nights at the Leonardo Royal hotel. Just down the block from the central train station and walkable to all points of interest. The room was well styled, impeccably clean and surprisingly quiet. Would absolutely go back!

Entering the hotel gives you the impression of a high standard as it is a decorated to a modern and luxurious standard, and it smells amazing. I asked for a room on a top floor as Im a little sensitive to noise and we were given a room on the eigth floor so this seemed positive, though there was a little concern when a box of earplugs was brought out. The room was clean, modern and spacious with the usual necessities, good stuff. Returning after a night out however we did not appreciate the group of smokers at the main door and when we turned off the tv to put our heads down it became apparent that we were to endure a night of trains rolling in and out of the station, hearing our fellow hotel residents conversing and having loud obnoxious sex... The earplugs that were provided did absolutely nothing and as a result my wife and I had a rather poor nights sleep which is a very opposite experience from the hotel we stayed in the night before. So sound insulation safe to say is non existent. Sorry to say we'll not be staying here again sadly.
