The guy that checked us in was super helpful and he had a line of people he was handling without help. The check in experience was great. Then we get to our room and go out for some dinner and come back to hear dogs constantly barking a couple of rooms down. This continued for hours. The guy at the desk said he had tried to reach out to the people that were supposed to be in the room. No sleep and checked out a day early and went to another hotel.

We had a wonderful stay. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate were available 24/7, the free breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the rooms were comfortable. The only complaint was that the pool was too cold to be enjoyable.

Hotel was fine for one nights stay but the carpets throughout were stained and fraying. Rusty pipes underneath the bathroom sink looked unpleasant. Breakfast was good.

We stayed two nights. Housekeeping did not replace the products that were used in the bathroom, the soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The bathroom floor could have used a vacuum because of the hair that was on it and I had no way to be able to clean that up but they didn't do anything to the bathroom or the rest of the room, except replace towels. There were stains on the bed sheets & the washcloths and towels I felt like they are not doing a very good job cleaning them. I called the front desk to get more shampoo and conditioner and no one answered the phone and I left it ring and ring.

The room was clean upon arrival but they wouldn’t clean the room daily as advertised, nor did they clean when I walked to the front desk and asked. They were indignant that I approached them about it, even though I told them I was with an elderly traveler.

Property was in a quiet location and there was even a sign posted that loud noise will not be tolerated in the hotel. Great place to stay, relax and be close to all the attractions in Gettysburg, PA.

The hotel and the room looked great. The breakfast had good selections. There should be more than one elevator for the 3-floor hotel, but it was not a hindrance. Conveniently located. Interesting way it is a part of a long street of businesses.
