The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. We did not like: - the treacherously slippery floor of the shower. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. - handicap drop-off area was not protected from the elements. - we did not like the fact that there was only one trash can in the bathroom. There was no trash can in the room itself. - There were not enough handicap spots in the parking lot. All the spots along the front should be handicap spots.

Just plain awful.
When we got there for check in, we shpuld have taken it as a sign and turned around. The system was down, which I understand, but the guy behind the desk was SO rude to the people he was checking in. He had an attitude with everyone because the system was down. He took our names and basically threw our key cards at us. The hot tub and pool were both disgusting. Our room smelled terrible, but we didnt want to deal with the rude employee so we just kind of dealt with it. We ended up checking out early and the girl that checked us out was very nice, and told us that since it was before noon, we should get a full refund for the extra day we had on there. After 10 days of no refund, I called the hotel to find out what was going on and a different guy than before at check in answered the phone. He started out the phone call not with the typical thank you for calling, but with "Hi, can you call back in like 5 minutes,? I'm busy." This threw me off so I said "Excuse me?" He then ststed "I dont have time for this bulls***." And hung up the phone. I called back about 20 minutes later and the same person answered. I explained to him my problem and he hung up on me. I called back, and again the same guy answered, I explained again what happened, and he responded with, "yeah, I got that the first time you called. I obviously can't help you." I asked if there was a manager I could speak to, and he responded with no, and hung up the phone. I've had multiple calls in with no return call.

Nice hotel, VERY POOR SERVICE
The hotel downgraded our room the day of our stay. When asked about the new rate for the downgraded room they assured us that it would be less, but no details. When we checked our credit card charges with the receipt they gave us at checkout, they had overcharged our card by over $20.

The front desk clerk was welcoming. The room was nice and for the price just what we needed. We loved Gettysburg! There is a Mexican restaurant right by the hotel so that was great since we had been driving all day.

The guy that checked us in was super helpful and he had a line of people he was handling without help. The check in experience was great. Then we get to our room and go out for some dinner and come back to hear dogs constantly barking a couple of rooms down. This continued for hours. The guy at the desk said he had tried to reach out to the people that were supposed to be in the room. No sleep and checked out a day early and went to another hotel.
