My visit to GHC started after arriving at 9:15pm on a Thursday night. Arriving at the property we were met by a lovely and friendly security guard (previous police officer at Black Bush, I cannot remember his name) who escorted us to reception. Following a quick and effective check-in process we went to dinner at the onsite restaurant this is where we met Charelene, a friendly high-spirited and wonderful and knowledgeable waitress. We encounter an issue with one of the dishes which was quickly resolved by Charlene along with her supervisor Troy who provided alternatives and ensured the situation was resolved with the customer in mind. We stayed at the property for 7 nights and we would often see Troy in the morning, he would always smile and wave and ask if there is anything he can do to make our stay ever better. Overall the property is very clean and well kept, the cleaners do an incredible job and my room was spotless everytime. The reception team are friendly and responsive and very welcoming. The food is very delicious especially the guyanese offerings at breakfast (bake and saltfish, roti and baigan choka etc). The Sunday brunch was very delicious, serving wonderful guyanese cuisine and desserts. The property does have a pool right at the front which I did not use. There is enough space within the property grounds to relax outside of your room and the property feels well secured. The property is also well connected to Georgetown and getting to town took me under 20mi

Great hotel and Exceptional staff. I would definitely be returning however, I’m not sure if it’s the placement of my room in particular but I heard everything on the highway and it was a challenge to sleep.
