A happy repeat customer

I always stay at the Argo when I’m in Idaho Springs. My room had a noisy bathroom fan and the office changed the room immediately. The mattress was new and very comfortable. It is quiet here. I will return.

Amazing view & from room of the Arkansas River & path to the river with seating……not a fancy hotel, but patio on river made it feel like a resort with a large updated room! Will stay here again whenever in the area. Bargain price compared to others in the area

I came here for a "personal retreat" and when I walked in the room as it overlooked the creek I marveled "perfect!" It's exactly what I needed and wanted. Including the area out back by the creek. Just lovely.

Very close to less touristy areas within walking distance. Local bars/restaurants/diners/gas stations is incredibly convenient. Downtown is within like a 15 minute walk. Bang for the buck is incredibly high.

Pick this location

It was amazing because the motel was on the edge of Clear Creek. The balcony view was very relaxing. I didn’t hear any road noise. Very clean and comfortable.

The only benefit was the patio with river out back. Floors were DISGUSTING, only 2 pillows on each bed and they are so flat folding them in half didn't help. Many items in the room were broken. Online checkout said 12(one of the main reasons we selected this one) host argued with us and told us it was 11. Bath supplies were all 1/2 used. The ceiling had prior water damaged that they kinda fixed but was starting to fall apart. I have stayed at a lot cheaper places with WAY better quality.
