Lovely weekend in Geneva

Lovely staff, super quick and easy check-in. The bar on the 7th floor is very nice. The hotel is located so centrally, everywhere in the centre is very walkable.

In the middle of town, close to everything. Breakfast was excellent and personal was very friendly, helpful and flexible to our needs. We got confused by having to go up to 7th floor to find the reception but all was great and they easily accommodate our early arrival

Disappointing Stay at Ruby Claire Hotel Geneva I’ve stayed at the Ruby Claire before and appreciated its central location. However, my recent visit left much to be desired. • Check-in Experience: The new iPad-based check-in felt impersonal and lacked the warmth of human interaction. • Room Quality: The room was quiet but small and boxy. For £190 a night, I expected more comfort. The towels were basic, and the bedding quality was subpar. • Breakfast: On a positive note, the buffet breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. • Customer Service: The most concerning issue was leaving my iPad in the room post-checkout. The hotel did not contact me about it. When I tried to reach out, there was no direct phone line—only a two-minute automated message at my expense, directing me to email them. The email response time was 48 hours, which is unacceptable for such matters. Overall, while the location is convenient, the service and amenities did not meet expectations.

Snazzy Luxury

One of the most unique and stunning hotels I have ever stayed in. Definitely meant for a younger crowd, but it is a snazzy and luxurious place in the heart of Geneva. Glad I happened to get a great deal on it because I definitely couldn’t afford it under regular circumstances!

Definitely a quirky property, with comfortable rooms and excellent staff. The food offering was very limited, but I actually appreciated the simple healthy choices on offer. I would have preferred to have tea and coffee facilities in the room. The communal “galley” area on each floor with its boiling hot water tap didn’t work for me as a concept. I would have also preferred a higher bed and thicker mattress, but the use of a ribbon to stop the duvet moving about too much at night was inspiring.

Hotel was petrect for pur stay, super clean, nice products provided and loads of space in the room. It is in a really good location and everything is walkable - only downside is it is a little difficult to find on arrival as the entrace is inside a shopping facility Staff were very nice and helpful, we only stayed 2 nights and got the option to pass on the room being serviced for drink vouchers for the bar which we took them up on. Bar was lovley on the top of the building so outdoor seating aswell as indoor, nice drinks. Check out was painless can drop key cards off in boxs located in all lifts down which is super convenient, would stay again.

I originally had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Soundproof was not good and It doesn’t provide much and you need to pay for toothbrush and other stuff but overall it was not bad. On check out day, my flight got cancelled and I was automatically rebooked to a flight next day. The on-site staff told me I can’t extend for a night in the same room and I have to book a new room through booking platform on my own. So I went ahead with it quickly. Everything was in such a hurry and when I was booking a new room I wasn’t aware it’s non refundable. Not even an hour later, I found out I was rebooked to another flight that was leaving in 2 hours so I rushed to cancel my reservation through booking platform and asked them to reach out to the property to explain the situation hoping to get a refund or at least partial. Unfortunately the hotel said my reservation was done in “several hours before cancellation request so it can not be cancelled anymore due to reservation policies”, hence no refund. After several attempts to explain the situation, the hotel still insists on no refund and not even credit or voucher. Theoretically they did nothing wrong by sticking to their rules. But it was not flexible or accommodating at all. I urge everyone to make sure to choose the option with full refund because no matter how quickly you cancel right after or you are in any kind of urgent circumstances they won’t allow any flexibility. Unfortunately I don’t feel like staying with them ever again.
